"All second-tier classes?!" Phantom Whisper looked at the Swiftlight Mage before her, then turned to glance at the Zero Wing members walking over and asked quietly, "There are... six hundred of them. Are you sure you didn't see wrong?"
As she watched the Zero Wing members draw closer, Phantom Whisper could tell that none of them were ordinary. They were unquestionably formidable experts. But six hundred second-tier classes was simply terrifying.
Although more and more players in the various superpowers had completed their class advancement quests, even the weaker superpowers likely had not yet reached five hundred second-tier players, let alone six hundred.
Advancing to a second-tier class was no easy task. Skill and equipment were both essential prerequisites.
Of course, some players chose to advance through low-difficulty quests. Like many independent players with decent skill and gear, they found the advantages of a second-tier class far too great compared to a first-tier class. Not only did their basic attributes improve considerably, but their physical capabilities also rose dramatically, making it much easier to grind monsters, level up, and complete quests.
However, choosing a low-difficulty advancement came with serious consequences: advancing to a third-tier class in the future would become even more difficult.
To obtain better resources right away, quite a number of independent players chose to advance to second-tier classes first. Guild experts, however, were different. With their guilds backing them, they never lacked resources. To make their future advancement to third-tier easier, they naturally gave up on using low-difficulty advancement quests to become second-tier classes. Instead, they built a solid foundation, spending vast amounts of time improving their levels, equipment, and skills, choosing high-difficulty advancement quests whenever possible to pave a smoother path for future advancement.
