Even if players had invincibility skills, they probably would not fare any better.
Ordinary players did not know that no truly invincible skills existed in God's Domain. Those so-called invincibility skills were merely defensive magic skills capable of withstanding attacks. If an attack's power exceeded their defensive limit, the user would still take damage.
