The highest-grade attribute gems currently obtainable in God's Domain were only Tier 2.
As for Tier 3 Gems, they would only start dropping in large-scale dungeons after Level 30.
Asking an alchemist to fuse Tier 3 Gems only had a 20% success rate, making the cost far from insignificant. A single Tier 2 Gem sold for a full gold coin on the market. Excluding fusion fees, with average luck, one would need at least twenty Tier 2 Gems for a chance to fuse a single Tier 3 Gem.
The cost alone was twenty gold coins. It was simply unrealistic for the main forces of major guilds to socket an entire set of Tier 3 Gems.
Yet, Tier 3 Gems provided considerably higher attributes than Tier 2 Gems.
A Tier 1 Gem could increase a single attribute by 3 points.
A Tier 2 Gem could increase a single attribute by 6 points.
However, a Tier 3 Gem increased a single attribute by 12 points. If one socketed an entire set of Tier 3 Gems with pure Strength bonuses, the added Strength would be double that of an entire set of Tier 2 Gems. If the attributes were spread out instead, it would be no less effective than gaining the attributes of an additional top-tier piece of equipment. This was no small improvement for players.
For the main forces of large guilds, the attributes they could improve were extremely limited, as their equipment had already reached a certain standard.
If ordinary players in a full set of Bronze Equipment changed into a full set of Mystic Iron Grade Equipment, their strength would immediately rise by an entire level. However, the equipment worn by the main forces of large guilds was all top quality, either Fine-Gold or Dark Gold Grade. Raising themselves by
