God's Domain was a game that evolved constantly, everywhere and at all times. NPC cities likewise changed continuously; they were not fixed and unchanging.
Ordinary players might not think much of the increased number and variety of carriages in a city, but Shi Feng, who had played God's Domain for ten years, knew very well that this symbolized a city's level of prosperity.
How was prosperity measured?
The most basic standard was the carriages on the streets, much like cars in real-world cities.
Not only were there fewer cars in small cities, but high-end vehicles were rarely seen. In major cities, however, traffic jams of every kind were common, and luxury cars could be seen everywhere.
Cities in God's Domain were the same.
When the number of players in an NPC city continued to grow, the Main God System automatically increased the number of carriages to make travel more convenient for players.
When the city's average player spending reached a certain level, the system also automatically unlocked high-class carriages. These carriages charged more, but they traveled faster and could save players more time. After all, an NPC city was enormous; traveling to certain places could normally take several hours.
At present, only five cities in the entire Star-Moon Kingdom had high-class carriages, and White River City had the most of them. It could be said that White River City had already become the most prosperous city in the Star-Moon Kingdom.
Moreover, unlocking a feature like high-class carriages was merely a
