Medusa raised her hand, and a massive, shadowy serpent of energy struck out.

White Fang's scales suddenly rattled across his entire body, and he tore up the floor in front of him to use as a shield.

"Medusa, if you don't mind tearing this temple apart, then by all means, let's fight right here!" White Fang said, unhurried.

Medusa's expression, however, grew rather unsightly.

She could sense that the energy within White Fang's body was faintly bordering on surpassing the peak of the sixth rank.

If she were to force a confrontation, she wasn't certain she could take him down. Despite his slacker attitude, Medusa truly didn't dare guarantee she could best him in terms of raw strength.

Sensing Medusa's aura visibly waning, White Fang smiled and said, "That's right, Your Majesty. Just stay here and wait quietly with me."

Medusa's gaze turned icy, and she unleashed an attack even more ferocious than the last. A colossal energy serpent erupted from the ground and swallowed White Fang in one gulp.

However, Dou Qi surged throughout White Fang's body, shattering the massive serpent shadow.

Xiao Yan had no choice but to settle his mind and continue swimming downward, following the Two-Headed Fire Spirit Snake.
