Background / History

The Stellaron arrived on Jarilo-VI roughly seven hundred years before the present events, followed by the Antimatter Legion. During that crisis, a former Supreme Guardian made a deal with it and summoned the Frost Wave, eliminating the Legion but condemning Belobog to a prolonged disaster. 31

Its presence is the source of Jarilo-VI's Frost Wave and Fragmentum phenomena. Wherever a Stellaron exists, a Fragmentum rift emerges; its Destruction power radiates outward, distorts dimensional boundaries, and influences Fragmentum Creatures. 26 Records preserved in Svarog's memory identify it as the root cause of Belobog's disasters. 30

Successive Supreme Guardians concealed the Stellaron's existence from the public. The term was forbidden in Belobog, leaving most residents unaware that the Frost Wave and Fragmentum shared a common origin. 28

Influence on Belobog

• The Stellaron bewitched Cocolia from childhood through seductive whispers, convincing her that it could grant her wishes and create a new world for Belobog. 36
• Cocolia ultimately intended to release its power completely, allowing the Fragmentum to consume Belobog and transform its people into Fragmentum Creatures. 17
• Its influence led Cocolia away from faith in Qlipoth and toward the Destruction it represented. 17
• Near its containment site, Fragmentum exposure became severe enough to imprint people, memories, and places into reality, including the Shadow of Cocolia. 35
• The closer one was to it, the more strongly the Fragmentum merged with the surrounding environment. 35

Destruction Power

The Stellaron embodies the power of Destruction and is capable of bringing calamity on a planetary scale. Its leaked power was sufficient to affect the Underworld even while it was held in the Upper District's restricted zone. 26

The Stellaron can form a perceived contract with individuals and exploit their desires. Cocolia believed it would fulfill her wish to save Belobog, despite it being the cause of the Frost Wave and Fragmentum threat. 34 36

• Its influence caused Cocolia to regard mass transformation into Fragmentum Creatures as a merciful rebirth. 35
• Cocolia was unable to fully command its power or control the consequences of her pact. 40
• It was described as capable of rewriting everything when invoked by Cocolia. 37

Containment and Integration

Stellarons are considered extraordinarily dangerous and difficult to handle. Most individuals cannot even seal one; known capable handlers include powerful Emanators such as Herta and Xianzhou Marshals or Generals. 41

• The Interastral Peace Corporation previously provided Belobog with a suppression device for the Stellaron. 47
• The Astral Express crew and Herta's group are known to use sealing as a method of containment. 13 25

Belobog Crisis

The Stellaron's long-term effects define the central crisis on Jarilo-VI: the Frost Wave isolates and endangers Belobog, while Fragmentum incursions threaten both the Overworld and Underworld. The Astral Express arrives specifically to resolve this crisis. 5 9

Cocolia's Transformation

At Everwinter Hill, Cocolia releases the suppression device and merges with the awakened Stellaron. The fusion transforms her into a monstrous Fragmentum-influenced form and gives her overwhelming frost and Destruction power. 35 36

Absorption by Jing Yan

Jing Yan first captures part of the Stellaron's Destruction power through his manifestation, Pride, converting it into Eros-aligned power. 40 After Cocolia is incapacitated and the freed Stellaron begins to expand toward detonation, Jing Yan suppresses it with Eros and devours it into his own body. 40

The integration ends the Frost Wave, allows the Fragmentum to begin shrinking, and resolves the Stellaron crisis on Jarilo-VI. 41 Welt Yang notes that Jing Yan appears to suffer no ill effects from hosting it. 41

• Nanook — The Stellaron is identified as a creation of the Aeon of Destruction. 6 41
