"Thank you for your trouble." Fu Xuan stood before the enormous Matrix of Prescience.
"Wow, what an impressive array! Is this the treasure that Nous the Erudition supposedly left behind on the Xianzhou?" March 7th exclaimed.
"The Xianzhou did indeed once seek wisdom from Nous the Erudition. The Matrix of Prescience can observe the transformations of the natural order and the rise and fall of human affairs. Given enough information, it can provide answers to anything in the world. There's no other Matrix of Prescience on the Xianzhou."
"Wow, she's still as cold as ever." March 7th shrugged.
"I'll spare you the details. I'm about to activate the Matrix of Prescience. Whoever stands at its center may feel a slight impact, so be careful." Fu Xuan gave everyone a warning, then waved her hand.
"Cloud Knights, bring the prisoner, Kafka, here."
After two Cloud Knights brought Kafka to the scene...
"Hehe, what a grand production. If you want to know something, you could just come and ask me." Kafka looked around, then smiled at Fu Xuan.
"Hmph. I won't trust a Stellaron Hunter who uses Spirit Whisper to manipulate people's minds. The Matrix of Prescience is far more reliable. It never makes mistakes. I need only consult it once to learn the whole story." Fu Xuan retorted to Kafka's quip.
"If Lord Diviner insists, then go ahead. I won't resist. You'll find out everything you want to know without a hitch, though the answer may not be what you expect." Kafka paid no mind to Fu Xuan's words.
"Enough talk." Fu Xuan formed a hand seal, and her third eye suddenly blazed with dazzling light.
As the Matrix of Prescience activated, a wave of force swept outward, and another power lifted Kafka into the air. Countless runes spun in an order beyond words.
"This... How is this possible? You did all this just for that?" Fu Xuan's expression suddenly changed as the Matrix of Prescience worked.
"Well? Do you like the truth?" Kafka slowly descended, still bound in midair, and smiled at Fu Xuan.
"This... I must discuss a response with the general at once. The Stellaron matter has little to do with you or the Stellaron Hunters. As for the Stellaron Hunters' purpose, ask them yourselves." With that, Fu Xuan hurried away.
"Hey, wait! We still have questions... She left way too fast." Fu Xuan had already rushed off before March 7th could finish speaking.
"If she left in such a hurry, the Stellaron Hunters probably weren't behind the Stellaron problem. Anyway, let's ask her first," Welt said after a moment's thought.
