Just as Blade and Dan Heng were locked in a fierce battle, an unexpected figure finally arrived on the scene.
"I am Yanqing, Cloud Knight guard. I've come to arrest the wanted criminal on the Luofu, Stellaron Hunter Blade." Yanqing held an icy-blue longsword and took up an attacking stance.
"Oh, you're only here to arrest me?" Blade turned his head and gave Yanqing a contemptuous glance, then taunted, "Do you know who the man in front of me is?"
"He's the former Imbibitor Lunae, Dan Feng, who committed the ten unpardonable crimes, brought evil upon the Xianzhou, and was sentenced never to set foot on the Luofu again. Hahaha!" Blade couldn't help laughing by the end.
"What..." Blade's words clearly threw Yanqing into confusion. His gaze shifted between the two, before he finally made up his mind. "In that case, I'll arrest both of you... Hey!"
In the blink of an eye, just as Yanqing took up his stance and prepared to attack, Xiao Xi finally couldn't hold back and stepped in.
Golden chains wrapped around the sword in Yanqing's hand. With a sharp tug, Yanqing was sent flying back, straight out of the battle between Blade and Dan Heng.
"Miss Xiao Xi, I'm here to arrest a wanted criminal. What do you mean by this?" Yanqing hurriedly asked, taken aback.
"You're General Jing Yuan's apprentice, right? Listen, things are complicated right now. The Luofu Xianzhou has already interrogated Kafka, and there's a reason the Stellaron Hunters are here." Xiao Xi didn't hide anything. She directly explained the whole situation to Yanqing.
"As for Dan Heng, he isn't the Imbibitor Lunae 'Dan Feng' Blade claims he is. You know the Vidyadhara's rules for reincarnation and rebirth. The dead have always been considered to have paid their debts. Why should Dan Heng be an exception?"
"But... well..." Yanqing was clearly hesitant.
