Aliens?

Then the two aliens simply waved their hands, and Zhang Shuai passed out. When he woke up, he had completely lost his memory. They had left him on the mountaintop, where his parents eventually found him. Zhang Shuai didn't even recognize his own parents. All his memories had disappeared. The only thing he could recall was seeing the spaceship and the two strange aliens. Even now, he often dreamed about them.

That encounter had completely changed Zhang Shuai's life. After losing his memory, he couldn't even speak, and he didn't recognize a single written character. The villagers all said he'd become a fool. His parents often argued over what had happened to him, and eventually they divorced and started new families of their own.

What Zhang Shuai couldn't understand was why the aliens he had seen looked exactly like people from Earth—especially people from the Dragon Kingdom!

Over the years, he had heard plenty of people from home and abroad claim they had personally witnessed UFOs. According to these witnesses, the UFOs were strange, disc-shaped flying objects, and the aliens were bizarre-looking creatures. That was completely different from the aliens he had seen.

So in recent years, Zhang Shuai had grown very curious about what aliens actually looked like. He often searched the internet for rumors and news about them.

Today, when he saw the photo of the dead man, for some reason Zhang Shuai was suddenly reminded of the aliens he had encountered back then. The image showed nothing but a corpse, yet its bearing—or perhaps some other quality—was somehow similar to that of the two aliens he had seen. Zhang Shuai couldn't say exactly what this distinctive quality was.

The second image showed a strange, deep-blue garment that seemed to shimmer with starlight. It looked like a long robe, though he had no idea what kind of luminescent material it was made from. In the pitch-black night, the robe sparkled with brilliant starlight, making it look just like something created with computer effects.

Beneath the image was a long description in Japanese, which Zhang Shuai couldn't understand at all.

The third image showed a large pile of gray stones, each about the size of a fist.

Zhang Shuai recognized those stones. He even had one like them in his desk drawer.

The fourth image left Zhang Shuai utterly shocked. It showed a yellowed leather scroll. When he enlarged the image, he was astonished to find a set of boxing moves recorded on it. Several strange characters appeared beside them. Zhang Shuai didn't recognize the writing, but it looked a lot like early ancient Dragon Kingdom script—perhaps oracle-bone script. The little figures in the illustrations were demonstrating the moves one by one. Only part of the scroll had been photographed, so he could see just over a dozen illustrations. The boxing style depicted was none other than the Big Dipper Long Fist the Dragon Kingdom government had recently made public.

In other words, the Big Dipper Long Fist released by the Dragon Kingdom government had actually come from the records on this yellowed scroll. Thinking of the strange man's coffin and the leather scroll, Zhang Shuai couldn't help wondering if the Big Dipper Long Fist had been unearthed from some ancient tomb.

The fifth image also showed a leather scroll. Along with a diagram of the acupuncture points across the human body, it contained long passages of text. The writing looked a bit like early oracle-bone script from the Dragon Kingdom, but Zhang Shuai only thought it looked similar. He couldn't recognize a single character and had no idea what the lengthy passages said.

Still, all three hundred and sixty acupuncture points shown on the diagram were marked with those oracle-bone characters. If a specialist in ancient writing compared and translated them, they should be able to decipher the text.

There was nothing he could do. Zhang Shuai couldn't make out a single character.

So Zhang Shuai opened the second folder, only to find it full of long passages in Japanese. He understood even less of that.

After looking through the files on the USB drive, Zhang Shuai hadn't cleared up his doubts. If anything, he was even more curious.

To figure out what the two folders contained, Zhang Shuai specifically downloaded a translation program and used it to translate the Japanese line by line.

It took over an hour, but he finally finished translating all the Japanese. As he read the translated text, Zhang Shuai was plunged into deep shock. His entire worldview had been dealt a severe blow.

The Japanese text beneath the first image of the male corpse translated as: "This is the corpse of an alien brought back from Mars by the Dragon Kingdom's interstellar exploration team. No one knows how many years have passed, yet the corpse has not decayed in the slightest. It is now being kept at the Dragon Kingdom's Supernatural Phenomena Research Bureau."

Zhang Shuai also translated the contents of the second folder.

So I used my connections and claimed that I had developed a sense of qi while practicing the Big Dipper Long Fist. I easily passed the 749 Bureau's test and entered the most mysterious bureau in the Dragon Kingdom. At last, I learned the secret the Dragon Kingdom government had been hiding.
