Diverting Disaster Elsewhere

Zhang Shuai's group of twenty-seven walked across the pitch-black seabed. At first, there was nothing but deathly silence and darkness around them, but after traveling roughly tens of thousands of miles, the view ahead suddenly brightened. Vast swathes of crimson, dark gold, and even blazing white light replaced the boundless darkness, casting the area in fantastical colors. Even the icy, bone-piercing heavy water, with its terrifying pressure, seemed to carry a trace of scorching heat.

Thick dark-gold pillars of fire constantly erupted from its crater, forming a scorching sea of flames.
