History

Ancient era

The world’s early history is disputed.

According to Fairy Su Chen, the Giant Spirit Clan came from another world across the Primordial Endless Domain and became the target of a united war by the native races. 720 721 Clan Chief Ao Yan later identifies this account as false, asserting that the Giant Spirit Clan were the Primordial World’s original natives, while humans, demons, devils, and the Dragon Clan were migrants led by Xuhong Divine Venerable. 731

Ao Yan further states that Xuhong reshaped the world’s Heavenly Dao to make it habitable for the arriving races, forcibly taking authority from the Giant Spirit Clan. 731

The Dragon Clan and Giant Spirit Clan were once allied and exchanged inheritance tokens under a life-and-death covenant. The Dragon Clan retained the Giant Spirit Blood Jade, while the Giant Spirit Clan received the Ten-Thousand-Dragon Origin Blood Wall. 643

The World-Severing Valley disaster

Primordial World-Severing Valley became the center of a catastrophic conflict during Zhang Shuai’s pursuit of rare materials and supreme treasures. His Nebula Void-Shattering Finger drew Primordial Endless qi into the valley, forcing its treasure hunt to end prematurely. 714 715

Later, Zhang Shuai’s avatar self-destructed there. The resulting white light annihilated the valley, its Primordial Origin Tombs, formations, treasures, and terrain before shattering the boundary toward the Primordial Endless Domain. Infinite Qi flooded through the breach and transformed the former valley into part of the Infinite Domain. 843

Renewal under Zhang Shuai

After returning as an Eternal True Divinity, Zhang Shuai destroyed the Burial Heaven Pavilion and repaired the enormous wound left by removing its territory from the world. 887

He then destroyed Xu Hong’s true-spirit imprints throughout the entire Primordial World system, removing Xu Hong’s control network over its Heavenly Dao. Zhang Shuai merged a divided portion of his own divine soul with the world, becoming its new Heavenly Dao. 890

Over forty-nine days, he reshaped the world’s laws through Divine-Text Matrices. The remolded world experienced greater resource abundance, widespread enlightenment, and numerous cultivation breakthroughs. 890

Heavenly Dao

• Xu Hong previously controlled the world through true-spirit imprints hidden in earth veins, bodies of water, seasonal nodes, and living beings’ bloodlines. 890
