Can Asgard Be Worth an Infinity Stone?

From the very beginning, Xiang Qian had known that he had no chance of killing Thanos. Every attempt he made had ultimately been to force Death to appear. It all depended on how important Thanos was to Death, and whether he was worth saving personally.

If Death did not appear, the power of two Infinity Stones would be enough to erase the defeated Thanos completely, body and soul, leaving him no chance even to enter the Hell Dimension.

But once Death appeared, killing Thanos became an impossible task.

Even if what had been projected over was merely a manifestation of consciousness, Death still had more than enough power to take away Thanos's soul, or preserve his memories and personality.

If Xiang Qian insisted on pressing the matter, Hela would seize the opportunity to unleash a slaughter. Empowered by Death, Hela could wipe out every opponent in Asgard in an extremely short time.

Those opponents were all allies of Kamar-Taj.

Death showed a trace of displeasure. "You are too greedy, little one. Each of those Infinity Stones is worth tens of millions of times more than Asgard. I have already left Hela to you. Are you still not satisfied?"

"Hela? If you had not deliberately strengthened her, she would have been nothing worth mentioning. You cannot create a problem for someone out of thin air, then use solving that problem as a bargaining chip in a deal with me.
