In an unnoticed corner of the fast-food restaurant, Xiang Qian had completely seized the initiative and continued speaking at length.
"Although both the United States government and Dr. Pym personally deny the existence of the legendary 'Ant-Man warriors,' everyone knows S.H.I.E.L.D. possesses equipment capable of shrinking and enlarging people at will. Among all that related intelligence, do you know what interested me the most?"
Xiang Qian played a game of asking and answering his own questions. His lazy demeanor and deliberately mysterious smile made him look exactly like some bored busybody gossiping over a meal.
"The intelligence indicated that although those 'invisible invaders' were extremely small, they basically retained normal human strength and could effectively operate weapons such as heavy machine guns and artillery. Therefore, some people speculated that while those invaders had shrunk in size, their weight had not decreased accordingly."
Tony interrupted his eloquent speech.
"That makes no sense. No, it should be said that it defies physics. A weight of one hundred and fifty pounds exerted through a normal eight-inch foot produces completely different pressure from that same weight exerted through a foot one-tenth of a millimeter wide. If their weight remained unchanged, wouldn't those shrunken people sink into the ground with every step?"
Whenever technical matters came up, especially technology he had never encountered before, Tony immediately became intensely interested. It was also the only thing capable of drawing his attention away from women's faces and figures.
"Exactly. That's the most contradictory part." Xiang Qian looked at Hope, whose expression had suddenly become unreadable. "Does Miss Dyne know the reason?"
Hope crossed her arms, looking as though she wanted to keep everyone a thousand miles away. "Sorry, our company has no technological products that can shrink the human body, nor have we ever conducted related research.
