Zhao Fu shook his head, casting all those thoughts to the back of his mind. What mattered most now was repairing the Chaos Origin Mirror.
He controlled the blood mass and sent it drifting toward the bronze mirror. As expected, the bronze mirror preferred the Blood of Chaos. It swallowed it at once without any rejection, releasing a powerful force of chaos.
Zhao Fu looked at the bronze mirror and smiled faintly. He said to Yao, "Give me your hand!"
Yao obediently held out one hand.
Zhao Fu took her hand and placed it beneath the bronze mirror. "Next, release your power of chaos. I'll release my power as well, and together we'll repair the Chaos Origin Mirror."
Yao smiled and nodded.
A powerful force of chaos surged from Yao's body, while Zhao Fu released a powerful force of his own. The two powers merged, forming a mass of blood-gray flames that burned beneath the bronze mirror.
The bronze mirror quickly began to show signs of melting. Yao's power of chaos was far more useful than Zhao Fu's. It seemed that even if he found the final bronze fragment, he would still need to revive Yao. Without her help, it would be nearly impossible for Zhao Fu to repair the Chaos Origin Mirror.
Even if a true member of the Chaos Clan came, it would be exceedingly difficult, since their bloodlines had been diluted through countless generations and could never be as pure as Yao's.
