Volume One, Chapter Thirty-Seven
After Great Qin held back four kingdoms, it gathered its forces and launched another attack on the Dragon King Kingdom.
Great Qin was first blocked by a region the Dragon King Kingdom had abandoned. The Dragon King Kingdom had intended to use other factions there as shields. It had failed to draw in any major powers, but had instead attracted countless small factions.
Now that these small factions learned Great Qin was attacking, they immediately fell into panic and chaos, making it impossible for Great Qin's army to pass through smoothly.
Great Qin could only halt. Zhao Fu had soldiers deliver a message to those small factions: gather together now and attack the Dragon King Kingdom from the flank, tying down part of its forces. Otherwise, Great Qin would slaughter them all right now.
Some factions obediently gathered as Great Qin instructed, while others still wanted to flee and had no intention of obeying Great Qin's orders.
Zhao Fu showed them no mercy either and directly ordered those small factions exterminated.
