Zhao Fu rescued Zhao Hong, Zhao Jun, and Zheng Qiu, then turned to planning a player-based faction in Terror Forest to help Great Qin clear rival factions. Wang Ergou reported on the region’s leading groups, leaving Zhao Fu with several powerful factions to consider.
Zhao Fu established Heaven's Choice in Demon Tree City and drew a crowd with a challenge to endure his aura for five seconds to become core members. Just as onlookers expected the test to be easy, the situation suddenly changed.
Zhao Fu tested recruits with his overwhelming aura, then led Heaven’s Choice toward its first challenge against the Green Snake Gang. After more than forty recruits withdrew, he equipped the 108 who stayed and left them facing the gang’s gates after killing a guard.
Zhao Fu led Heaven's Choice against the Green Snake Gang and the Hundred Thieves Society, killing the first gang's leader and overwhelming both factions with his power. After Heaven's Choice took over the Green Snake Gang's territory, Zhao Fu killed the Hundred Thieves Society leader, leaving the fight unresolved.
Zhao Fu destroyed the Hundred Thieves Society and several nearby factions, rapidly expanding Heaven's Choice and drawing attention across the region. Other factions learned he had Ying Family backing and feared he was preparing the way for Great Qin's Imperial Prince, unaware that Zhao Fu was the prince himself.
Wu Qingniang, the Li family, and Ying Xi reacted to Heaven’s Choice’s sudden rise as Zhao Fu focused on stabilizing the faction. He warned its core members that Apocalypse World would consume the real world and offered them protection in Ying Family territory, which they accepted.
Zhao Fu traded for slaves in Orc City and tried to prevent Zhou Ming from forming a rival alliance with the orcs. Gunado secretly agreed to cooperate with Zhou Ming anyway, and Zhao Fu watched their deal from afar.
Zhao Fu advanced his plan to poison and weaken the orcs while preparing Great Qin for an upgrade. After Duo Ke brought him two catfolk twins, Zhao Fu tested their combat ability and gave them two equipment sets.
Zhao Fu failed to clear the fourth stage of the Assassin Ruins, then spent twenty days expanding Great Qin and preparing to restore it. As Great Qin approached its planned thirty-one regions, Zhao Fu turned his attention to Great Shun.
Li Mu led Great Shun to destroy Evil Fang after years of sabotage, driving Green Apricot’s factions to fear Great Shun and sever ties with Zhao Fu. The remaining great families decided to stop confronting Great Shun, and the news enraged Great Qin.
Zhao Fu decided to attack Great Shun and used Li Gaole to discover its hidden location. He launched a public bounty on Great Shun’s members, leaving the aristocratic families who had betrayed him regretting their choice and considering seeking his favor again.
Zhao Fu accepted the four family heads’ renewed cooperation while planning to deal with them after Great Qin destroyed Great Shun. Li Mu rejected Su Yan’s advice to relocate, recruited players with a kill reward, and watched them abandon Great Shun when the quest rules changed; Zhao Fu then offered Great Shun’s remaining people double to join him.
Zhao Fu moved his forces against Great Shun while Li Gaole attempted to poison Li Mu, but the plot was exposed and the town erupted into chaos. Zhao Fu launched his attack as the traitorous players charged a city gate.
Zhao Fu launched Great Qin’s attack on Great Shun Town while Li Mu tried to turn the rebel players to Great Shun’s side. As Li Mu summoned Great Shun’s Dragon of Fortune to repel the assault, a terrifying black dragon appeared in the sky.
Zhao Fu led Great Qin’s assault on Great Shun, and his black dragon helped break the town’s defenses. Li Mu’s attempt to surrender failed, leaving him to sacrifice his fate and face Zhao Fu in a final battle.
Zhao Fu defeated Li Mu in a clash of national fortunes, killed him and Red Lady, and crushed Great Shun’s resistance. He entered Great Shun’s City Hall after ordering Bai Qi to clear the battlefield, where a golden cube awaited him.
Zhao Fu occupied Great Shun Town, destroying its national legacy and adding its Fate, artifacts, troops, and other benefits to Great Qin. He then ordered the execution of more than five thousand captured players who had betrayed Great Qin.
Zhao Fu displayed Great Qin’s victory over Great Shun by hanging thousands of players and displaying tens of thousands of corpses, spreading fear and outrage. He then led a huge army toward the Xia and Yue Families, whose fate remained undecided as the chapter ended.
Zhao Fu collected the people and supplies left behind by the Xia and Yue Families and pressured four other aristocratic families into compensating Great Qin for their past betrayal. After relocating Great Shun Town, Great Qin advanced to an Advanced Town, awakening a historical figure in its inheritance.
Zhao Fu inspected Great Qin’s upgraded buildings and population, then welcomed the historical general Meng Tian. He fused the General Stars and aptitudes of four Great Shun generals into a Talent Blood Crystal and examined its effects.
Zhao Fu gave Meng Tian a Talent Blood Crystal that raised his aptitude to SSS grade, then learned that conflict between Huaxia and Little Viet players had escalated into a deadly war involving system cities. The chaos gave Zhao Fu an opportunity to gather Tier 1 soldier corpses and elevate Viet Guard among the Little Viet people.
Zhao Fu set a trap near Ox Tooth City, using a false report to lure Little Viet system soldiers into an ambush. He killed three hundred soldiers and left evidence to make the attack look like Huaxia’s work, hoping to intensify the conflict between the two sides.
Zhao Fu led Great Qin soldiers in ambushes that killed fifteen hundred system soldiers across North Viet, escalating the conflict between Huaxia and Little Viet. As powerful factions rallied both sides into rival alliances, the region stood on the brink of wider slaughter.
After the system main cities tightened security, Zhao Fu convened the Viet Extermination Alliance’s leaders and led a massive nighttime raid on Little Viet factions that had refused to join the anti-Huaxia forces. The operation devastated 168 villages, and Zhao Fu focused on acquiring City-Building Stones amid the spoils.
After Great Qin took most of the City-Building Stones, Zhao Fu rewarded the participating factions and strengthened North Wind’s leadership of the Viet Extermination Alliance. Little Viet formed a massive Anti-Huaxia Alliance, but Zhao Fu’s strategy helped the Viet Extermination Alliance grow to a comparable size, ushering in an age of alliances.
