Zhao Fu strengthened his divine power through the White-Grade and Red-Grade Divine Halls, then began looking for a Purple-Grade Hall Master he could work with. He identified Sunward, an upright peak Void Realm cultivator who wanted to reform the temples, as a promising target.
Zhao Fu revealed himself as the Sun Clan’s prophesied one and recruited temple leaders to support reform. He asked the group to help him gain the highest authority by making Ri Jian the Sun God Envoy.
Ri Jian lured Ri Hao into a remote area and fought him, but Ri Hao nearly killed him. Zhao Fu’s spear killed Ri Hao, and Ri Jian questioned Zhao Fu’s identity and power.
Zhao Fu used the Shaman Soul Annihilation Spear to kill Ri Hao, then made Ri Jian a Sun God Envoy and helped him break through to the Great Power Realm. Ri Jian took control of Ri Hao’s faction and began bringing the other gold-grade temples under his authority, while three temple masters still refused to meet him.
Ri Jian moved against the three Gold-grade Divine Temples after their lords refused to submit, starting a civil war within the Bright Sun Temple. He defeated their forces and gained complete control of the temple.
Zhao Fu traveled with Ri Jian to the Flame Sun Temple and persuaded its Sun God Envoy, Ri Niu, to submit by promising to reform the temples and help him reach the Great Power level. Ri Niu agreed and took Zhao Fu to the temple so he could begin helping him.
Zhao Fu used the Flame Sun Temple’s divine power to help Ri Niu break through to the Great Power Realm, winning the temple’s support. He then chose the Light Sun Temple as his next target and planned to have Ri Jian and Ri Niu ambush its lecherous envoy, Ri Long.
Zhao Fu used an insect-made beauty as bait to lure Ri Long into a confrontation, while Ri Niu and Ri Jian attacked the Sun God Envoy on Zhao Fu’s orders. As Ri Long fought them, Zhao Fu’s armies assaulted the Light Sun Temple, leaving the temple in disarray and neighboring temples scrambling to learn what had happened.
Zhao Fu and the two temples defeated the Light Sun Temple, freed its captive women, and chose Ri Yue to replace his slain brother as its Sun God Envoy. Zhao Fu began using Ri Long’s power to help Ri Yue break through to the Great Power Realm.
After the three Sun God Envoys broke through to the Great Power Realm, Zhao Fu hid inside them as they attended a council where the other temple leaders agreed to unite against further aggression. Ri Jian then confronted Ri Hu and offered to help him break through, leaving Ri Hu asking how the three could guarantee it.
Zhao Fu persuaded Ri Hu to submit and used the Great Sun Temple’s statue to make him a Great Power, alarming the other Sun God Envoys. Afterward, Zhao Fu reaffirmed his plans to unify the Eight Suns Temple and ascend to the sun, then secretly gathered four Sun God Envoys to discuss attacking the remaining temples.
Zhao Fu and the others launched a surprise attack on Ri Hao at the Vast Sun Temple, hoping to eliminate the strongest Sun God Envoy before the other temples could respond. Ri Hao was badly outnumbered but used the temple’s protective power to fight back; just as he tried to fuse with it, the golden sphere dispersed, leaving him exposed to the attackers.
Zhao Fu used his authority as the person of prophecy to turn the Haori Divine Temple’s statue against Ri Hao and help Ri Jian and the others defeat him. After Ri Hao’s death, Zhao Fu revealed himself and secured the submission of the Sun God Envoys and Gold-grade Hall Masters, leaving his identity known across the Extreme Yang Land.
After the remaining three Sun God Envoys agreed to surrender, Zhao Fu united all eight temples and announced that he would reform the Eight Suns Temple. The former envoys accepted their positions under his rule, but Ri Qing and the other two had yet to declare whether they supported his reforms.
Zhao Fu abolished the system that let God Envoys levy supplies and the maidens' system, ordering the armies to kill anyone who resisted. After the bloody crackdown, he invited people from across Extreme Yang Land to discuss local problems, and their growing confidence in him left the Eight Suns Temple united behind his leadership.
Zhao Fu learned what the Sun God Envoys knew about the lost Eight Suns Divine Fire and the Extreme Yang Land’s decline, then successfully condensed a small golden flame from the Eight Forbidden Blood Art. The Sun God Envoys believed it could restore the Eight Suns Divine Land over time.
Zhao Fu merged the eight divine fires and used them to transform the Extreme Yang Land into the renewed Eight Suns Divine Land, bringing golden rain and vegetation back to the barren region. He promised to seek true divine fire from the suns, but Ri Jian and the other Sun God Envoys urged him not to risk ascending to them.
Zhao Fu prepared for the dangerous ascent to the sun by transforming into a Sunfire Body, then rose toward the eight suns while absorbing their escalating heat to avoid being assimilated. He stopped before reaching the world barrier to adapt, as the crystal on his forehead began to turn gold.
Zhao Fu endured the scorching heat and distortions on his ascent, transforming his body so he could cross the world barrier into the space of the eight suns. After adapting to the space’s overwhelming heat, he flew toward the nearest sun.
Zhao Fu reached the Vast Sun and teamed up with Tree Sap to enter its temple, where he encountered sixteen ancient women guarding a divine throne. The chapter ended with their leader questioning Zhao Fu after he identified himself as a Sun God Envoy.
After the temple guardians barred Zhao Fu from obtaining true Origin Sun Power unless he was a divine child, he devised a way to imitate one by combining Tree Sap’s solar divine power with his Myriad Gods Body. The disguise let them pass through the temple barrier, but the guardians confronted them again as they entered the hall.
Zhao Fu attempted to ascend the divine throne to prove he was a Divine Son, while the sixteen divine envoys expected to make him their slave if he failed. He overcame the throne’s power and claimed it, leaving the women to face his reminder of their promise.
After ascending the divine throne, Zhao Fu claimed the Origin Sun Power and invited Tree Sap and the temple women to absorb it with him. He gained a powerful golden-light body and set out to absorb the origin powers of the other suns despite warnings about the danger.
Zhao Fu arrived at the Heavenly Sun Temple and claimed to be both the Vast Sun God’s and Heavenly Sun God’s Divine Son. He proved his power by ascending Heavenly Sun God’s divine throne, becoming master of the temple and leaving its sixteen attendants to reckon with his claim.
Zhao Fu let the women of the second sun absorb true origin sun power alongside him, then traveled to the Third Sun to seek another kind. There, a powerful horned woman abducted him and later caught up with him at a temple barrier.
