Zhao Fu endured a sudden attack of head pain, then awakened the power of his four swords and rapidly rose through the Year Beast levels by slaughtering his rivals. At Level Nine, he encountered the young girl Year Beast again and knocked her away without killing her.
Zhao Fu ranked first in the New Year Dreamscape and returned to find Long Xiaoxiao kissing him, then claimed the event’s rewards and used Great Qin’s pooled points to secure another top-ranked token. The chapter left Great Qin with the General Token for first place and Zhao Fu holding an Epic-grade Light Sword.
Zhao Fu sought a way for all of Great Qin to benefit from the New Year events and learned that an Eight Absolute Sword Formation required eight top-grade swords. After fusing the Six-Winged Angel Heart with the Light Sword, he obtained a transformed Six-Winged Angel sword, leaving him hopeful that he could complete the formation.
Zhao Fu equipped the Sword Harness, completed and tested the Eight Absolute Sword Formation, then entered the New Year Dreamscape and fought his way to Level 7. When the Dreamscape rankings were announced, Arthur Tina ranked first, marking the first time a foreigner had surpassed everyone from Huaxia.
After Great Qin fell to fifty-eighth place in the New Year Points ranking, Zhao Fu discovered that it had earned 2 billion points and hurried to exchange them for General Tokens. He secured four more tokens and summoned five generals, whose loyalty was only 50.
Zhao Fu forced Sun Hanxiang, Wei Qing, Xu Liuyi, and Bai Xihan to become his consorts, despite the first three wanting to leave Great Qin. Their phoenix aura transformed the Imperial Phoenix Statue, whose growth astonished the Golden Dragon within Zhao Fu.
Zhao Fu summoned the Imperial Phoenix Statue, then tried to bring Sun Hanxiang and the other women into accepting their place in Great Qin without forcing himself on them. He entered the New Year Dreamscape afterward, where Arthur Tina ranked first and Zhao Fu finished thirty-first.
After the New Year Dreamscape rankings pushed Huaxia out of the top five, Zhao Fu worried that Huaxia’s fortune was weakening and that other nations might invade. An urgent report reached him just after he returned to his body, leaving the nature of the crisis unknown.
Four armies of players began a surprise attack on Great Qin during the Spring Festival event, forcing Zhao Fu to mobilize his defenses. As the enemy advanced through the snow, Zhao Fu sent fifty thousand Great Qin Assassins on a secret mission that unsettled Sun Hanxiang and the other women.
Great Qin Assassins infiltrated the player camps, killed night watchmen, and abducted more than fifty thousand people for Zhao Fu’s orders. The army discovered the disappearances the next morning, then found a horrific display of tortured captives that filled its soldiers with terror.
After Great Qin’s torture of captured players spread and failed to drive the attacking army away, Zhao Fu targeted the strongest player force with the Undead Catastrophe. The undead army charged Liu Hongjiang’s eastern army, which prepared to defend as arrows flew in from both sides.
Great Qin defeated Liu Hongjiang’s player army with the undead, archers, and City Lords, but Zhao Fu discovered that the victory had led them into a trap. Armies were closing in from all four directions, leaving Great Qin surrounded.
Zhao Fu used all of Great Qin’s national fortune to unleash Demon Realm Gate against the nine million players and 1.2 million system soldiers surrounding Great Qin. The gate opened above the battlefield, releasing a vast tide of flesh-and-blood demons as the players faced the oncoming horde in fear.
Great Qin’s demons, undead, and soldiers attacked the system forces, while Ge Nie revealed his allegiance by striking down a system city lord. The betrayal sparked a battle between the city lords as fighting engulfed both armies.
Zhao Fu kept the Demon Realm Gate open until he collapsed, and Great Qin won the battle at a heavy cost. After waking, he learned of the casualties and received notifications that the Great Chaotic World had entered its second stage and Huaxia faced the threat of losing its foremost inheritance status.
After Great Qin’s Fate was exhausted, Huaxia’s enemies invaded to seize its territory and claim the rewards, while its dynasties and factions feared the resulting calamity. Zhao Fu learned that Fate backlash had left him gravely weakened, but Xian Ru said Great Qin’s recovering Fate and the Imperial Phoenix Statue could heal him.
After Great Qin defeated the system army, Zhao Fu surveyed its heavy losses and organized its gains and new City Lords while recovering from his injuries. The chapter ended with Great Qin bringing six women with phoenix aura to Zhao Fu to help heal him.
Zhao Fu discovered that Sun Sisi was among six women captured for their phoenix qi, and he made them Imperial Consorts to heal his injuries. As the women were taken to their courtyard, Huaxia faced a massive invasion by twenty-one nations, bringing the coming Humiliation of Huaxia into view.
Oleg led Great Russia’s massive army against Huaxia, whose players chose surrender and peace over resistance. Huaxia activated Absolute Neutrality Mode, forcing its people outside the city, where Oleg ordered his forces to kill them all, including those who surrendered.
Oleg’s Great Russia army massacred the Huaxia people in Houfeng Region, claimed the region, and moved on to another target. Tut’s Mongol State cavalry then slaughtered the Huaxia population in a neighboring border region and rode onward with their heads displayed as trophies.
Kazakh State invaded Huaxia’s Sandbar Region, massacred its defenders, and forced captives into a cruel hunting contest led by Ke Jie. As invasions spread across the southern continent, Zhao Fu consulted his generals and arranged defenses while remaining too weak to travel.
Korea invaded Huaxia’s eastern region with six million players, and commander Piao Xuehui punished captured Huaxia people for refusing to submit. After forcing some survivors to profess loyalty, she ordered her forces to capture Huaxia natives and impose a slave system.
Oda Kamiya led Japan’s invasion of Huaxia territory and ordered attacks on native villages, while Japan announced its plan to enslave Huaxia women. Flower Moon prepared to resist Japan and also demanded that Great Qin return its Fourteenth Sister and Twenty-Sixth Sister.
Foreign nations occupied several Huaxia regions, with the Philippines slaughtering Huaxia defenders and the Joseon Kingdom, Malaysia, and Indonesia taking more territory. Zhao Fu returned to the real world, learned how severe Huaxia’s crisis had become, and saw that the worst fighting was in western Huaxia.
Huaxia suffered a massive invasion as India and other nations occupied its border regions, prompting the authorities, factions, and dynasties to organize resistance. Zhao Fu refused Huaxia’s appeal for Great Qin’s help, judging that he could not stop the invasion and that it would weaken Great Qin’s enemies.
