Zhao Fu gave Bai Shan an SS-grade Talent Orb so he could continue vital research, then held Great Qin Village’s first martial competition to find talent and strengthen unity among its races. Saar and Wang Ergou won the competition and received S-grade Talent Orbs, after which Zhao Fu returned to the real world.
Zhao Fu narrowly survived a sniper attack by Zhou Qian, an assassin hired to kill him, and realized the Li Family was likely behind it. He weighed whether to seek the Ying Family’s protection, but feared they would also exploit and eventually kill him, and the chapter ended when a familiar woman arrived with bodyguards.
Zhao Fu agreed to join Ying Xi’s branch, using her protection while she planned to make him a pawn against the Li Family. After Ying Xi secured his safety, Li Feng learned the Ying Family had threatened him over Zhao Fu and resolved to wait rather than provoke them immediately.
Li Baiqing learned that Zhao Fu was his older half-brother and chose to focus on Great Tang’s development rather than risk a conflict with the Ying Family. In Apocalypse World, Zhao Fu expanded Great Qin Village and earned a baron title, then went to the City of Holy Light to investigate buying property and spotted Jiang Rou with a Zhou Family member.
Zhao Fu visited the real estate office to learn about his new baron status, where Zhou Jie provoked him and Bai Qi swiftly defeated Zhou Jie and his hired men. After the manager treated Zhao Fu with respect and expelled Zhou Jie’s group, Zhao Fu befriended Jiang Rou and learned why the Jiang Family wanted land in the city, though her next words dashed his plan to profit from buying and reselling it.
Zhao Fu learned that his baron privileges offered little advantage and returned to Great Qin Village, where he received news of a vast Bronze Essence Mine occupied by Gray Dwarves. He secured the dwarves’ surrender and took over their village, where Chief Nord presented him with a surprise gift package.
Zhao Fu inspected the Gray Dwarves’ newly forged equipment, secured their bronze essence mine, and arranged to sell repaired Bone Space gear. After returning to Great Qin Village, he headed to the City of Holy Light to open a shop and agreed to take Liu Mei and Asani into the system main city afterward.
Zhao Fu bought properties in the City of Holy Light for an equipment store and restaurant, then recruited staff and tested aspiring chefs. The chapter ended after Huo Qing’s beautifully prepared radish dish tasted so awful that Zhao Fu spat it out.
Zhao Fu hired He Xianru, a skilled cook from the Food School, after she recognized his status as a nation’s inheritor and gave him a pendant to conceal his fortune. He also took in Huo Qing as He Xianru’s disciple and an odd-job worker.
Zhao Fu opened the Westfall Tower tavern and Ancient Artifact Shop in the City of Holy Light, using gifts and free food to build connections and attract customers. His shops prospered, and extravagant descriptions of his wares sparked rumors about ancient divine artifacts and holy spirits.
Zhao Fu expanded his businesses into Forest of Soldiers and Demon Tree City, increasing his profits and preparing a second passage exploration team. He then sought crystals from the City of Holy Light’s internal affairs officer, Qin Nan, by bringing him a valuable snow fox pelt.
Zhao Fu bought crystals and supplies, then took Liu Mei and Asani to the City of Holy Light, where they visited Jiang Rou’s cloth shop. After returning to Great Qin Village, he received a series of notifications announcing the village’s advancement and the awakening of Great Qin’s fortune and Nation-Guarding Artifact.
Great Qin gained recognition as an imperial inheritance, and Zhao Fu received the black-gold dragon fortune and imperial regalia. The other inheritors recognized Great Qin as a powerful new rival.
Zhao Fu examined the Great Qin inheritance and learned how fortune shaped the fate of people and nations. After discovering Huaxia’s secret military development and a lieutenant general’s call for peaceful cooperation, he doubted that Apocalypse World could avoid endless war.
Zhao Fu gained an SS-grade merchant and oversaw Great Qin Village’s new corpse-investigation skill, expansion, and pill harvest. He left the village’s affairs in order and learned that Terror Forest’s largest merchant association would hold an auction the next day, featuring Gold-grade equipment.
Zhao Fu attended the Red Flower Chamber of Commerce’s auction with Bai Qi, hoping to spend some of his wealth. After finding every private and VIP room occupied, he watched the early bidding from a corner and left the valuable blueprint uncontested.
The Jiang Family won the construction blueprint after bidding 32,000 silver coins, while Zhao Fu stayed silent at the auction. Later, Zhao Fu bid on the Six Wood Absolute Seal, an advanced formation that could block spatial abilities and teleportation, drawing the crowd's attention.
Zhao Fu secured the Six Wood Absolute Seal and Burst Spirit Pills at the auction, then entered a fierce bidding contest for the A-rank skill Holy Ring Light. His wealth drew attention from the Zhou Family and several powerful factions, while Soul discovered that his Heavenly Craft Black Eye could not see through Zhao Fu.
Zhao Fu won the A-rank skill Holy Ring Light, then stayed out of the bidding until the Earthsteel Stone appeared. With Zhao Fu’s loan, Gongsun Lin outbid Old Wu and bought the ore, promising to forge him Gold equipment.
Zhao Fu and Gongsun Lin watched the auction’s final lots, including a Wind Dragon Egg that the City of Holy Light won for 72 million silver coins. After collecting their purchases, they returned to Westfall Tower, where Zhao Fu asked Gongsun Lin if she could now forge gold-quality equipment.
Zhao Fu tested Daisy’s newly learned Holy Ring Light, expanded Great Qin Village’s territory, and led troops toward a bandit stronghold. After capturing survivors from a nearby village the bandits had raided, he learned of their atrocities and faced their plea for revenge.
Zhao Fu helped Xiao Jian and the surviving men of Hundred Flowers Village seek revenge by using them and Zhang Dahu's soldiers to lure the mountain bandits out of their stronghold. The bandits pursued Xiao Jian's fleeing group and were drawn into Zhao Fu's planned encirclement.
Zhao Fu’s forces ambushed Wang Bao’s bandits, giving Xiao Jian the chance to avenge his sister. The battle ended with Xiao Jian gravely wounded, and he placed his faith in Zhao Fu’s promise of strength and a unified realm.
After defeating Three Flood Dragons Stronghold’s third brother, Zhao Fu captured another group of bandits and began a plan to make them turn against their stronghold. He left the stronghold surrounded, with the seventy surviving bandits returning under threat to carry out his instructions.
Zhao Fu’s forces took Three Flood Dragons Stronghold after the bandits inside turned against their leaders, and he brought the captured people and spoils back to Great Qin Village. He then strengthened his troops and selected Axi and Shan Di to receive S-grade aptitude orbs.
