• Sun Qiankun recruited and trained Dao Soldiers, then seized county towns and sparked rebellions that weakened the four kingdoms’ forces.
• Li Qing led Wang Zhengtian’s army to victory at Whitehead Pass, unified the world, and used the Investiture of Gods List to appoint its native powerhouses as gods.
• Li Qing rallied the oppressed humans against Qiong, whose blood forces attacked the rebels, and killed Qiong by combining the dead’s hatred, the buried curse, and his own power.
• Li Qing merged Qiong’s world with Ocean World and formed the Twelve Yuanchen Inverted Grand Formation, while five immortals arrived to investigate the Nine Provinces Four Regions.

The six Immortals entered the Dark Ocean to find Li Qing, who used the Heart-Destroying Sword to test their defenses and evade their search.

• Li Qing helped the Five Immortals establish a forward base beneath the western sea, then used the ensuing battles to learn about the Spiritual Essence World and its rulers’ slaughter of everyone over forty.
• Li Qing entered the Spiritual Essence World, found the Dark Ocean formed from the dead’s resentment, and used Civilization Logic and the Heart-Destroying Sword to gain power over it.
• Li Qing recruited Wu Changgui and Spiritual Rhinoceros to spread resistance, while offering Spiritual Rhinoceros a place in the Nine Provinces Four Regions and a future seat as Heavenly Emperor.

Li Qing and his allies drew the Spiritual Essence World into conflict with the Nine Provinces Four Regions, using rebellion and layered formations to weaken the Immortals. The arc ends with Haoran Sage breaking through the Dark Ocean blockade by sacrificing his Conceptual Logic Prototype essence, while his True Spirit consciousness escapes.

• Li Qing let the Spiritual Essence World use the World-Anchoring Chains to bring the worlds closer, intending to make their collision his tribulation of attaining the Dao.
• Spiritual Rhinoceros became a Heavenly Emperor and spread cultivation methods and knowledge of the Immortals’ memory cleansing, helping resistance take root across the Spiritual Essence World.
• Purple God and four other Immortals connected the worlds with the World Anchor, and Li Qing, Haoran Sage, and Sky Ghost entered the Dark Ocean to prepare their trap.
