The ancestral land of Xuantian Temple was a Moonheart Secret Realm opened up by cultivators who worshipped the Seven Star Gods.
It was said that when Old Ancestor Tuokong, the founder of Xuantian Temple, descended upon the moon to find a place for his own Daoist grounds, he casually took out a treasure seal of bluish-white jade and hurled it forth. Riding five-colored clouds and radiating auspicious light, the Dharma seal flew away.
The place where that treasure seal landed was the entrance to the ruined temple from before. In truth, this Moonheart world nearly pierced through the lunar crust, carving out a vast hole within the moon that reached all the way to the lunar mantle.
Farther down lay a region composed of molten matter. One could proceed no further from there. Moreover, influenced by the moon's core, space was warped to an extreme degree. Underground seismic waves would distort space from time to time; even experts of the Manifest Divinity realm did not dare rashly barge into it.
Avoiding the moon's deepest core region, Xuantian Temple had constructed all manner of Daoist arts and secret methods in the depths of that great hollow. After stabilizing the geological structure, they opened up several minor chiliocosms.
These minor chiliocosms encircled and linked with one another, also serving to stabilize the stellar core within the moon. This stellar core was the moon's internal star core, brewed over countless years, and the source of the moon's terrestrial spirit veins.
Many stars in the world possessed stellar cores. Any stellar core could serve as the embryonic vessel for a magical treasure, and if one could refine it completely, the benefits would be beyond measure.
Yet how vast, immense, and boundless was an ordinary star? To refine the stellar core within one required roughly
