A rare, aberrant species of legend.
Great Sage Lieyun floated in the void, still clad in palace robes. Every inch of her skin gleamed crystal-clear, flowing with an uncanny Dao rhythm.
Her gaze fixed upon that void prison, and a rare delight appeared on her face. Following Zi Biluo's directions, she had easily found the legendary Nanda Divine Insects.
The Nanda Divine Insects were trapped within a spacetime bone prison formed from countless white bones. Shaped like an enormous bone pellet, it was crystal-clear and translucent, with innumerable grayish-white currents swirling across it. Dense white bones blotted out the sky and covered the earth.
"This construction carries something of the aura of Bone Path, one of the Six Paths... I see. Nanda Divine Insects can break all restrictions beneath heaven. Almost no technique involving spacetime can completely seal them away."
Great Sage Lieyun recalled the tales. These divine insects were said to fear nothing and could break the restrictions of all heavens. No manner of secret spacetime art could contain them.
Fortunately, Nanda Divine Insects feared one kind of existence: Li Dragons that had cast off their corpses and transformed into Bone Path. These were ancient dragons, one of the Thirty-Six True Dragons. For some unknown reason, Nanda Divine Insects were innately terrified of the aura of Bone Path, likely due to some connection with the ancient Li Dragons.
"This is a grand seal that simulates the heaven-and-earth and spacetime structure of Bone Path. Using this method, they formed this insect-cage-like constructed spacetime. These Nanda Divine Insects were so frightened that they dared not move, reverting into cocooning forms and falling asleep. That was how they were imprisoned here."
