This old priest was named Onuerzha. He was one of the Eternal Calamity Sect's ten high priests, as well as Holy Son Long Bahe's deputy.

Throughout Cloud Sea Prefecture and even across this continent, there were many cities like this, much like feudal states. Nominally, they acknowledged the Holy City Pope at the center of the continent as their sovereign, but in truth, apart from paying tribute every year, they were entirely independent.
Mashibas City occupied an exceptionally favorable location, built beside an inland sea. Through the largest port along the coastline, countless ships could take sea routes from here to the ports of several nearby prefectures.
Trade here was extraordinarily prosperous, making it one of the foremost commercial hubs on the Western Continent. In fact, it was thanks to the commercial stronghold and port city of Mashibas that Cloud Sea Prefecture had always been famed for trade.
The Eternal Calamity Sect intended to seize control of this city, then gradually infiltrate Cloud Sea Prefecture and take control of its commercial landscape.
Naturally, this was bound to violate a major taboo. Cloud Sea Prefecture originally belonged to a minor sect called the Sacred Dance Sect.
