The Overlord of Dasheng's demonic spirit appeared once more and conveyed a message to He Ping.
"...The forces dispatched by the Other Shore have already begun operating in the Western Continent. Those people should have discovered traces of you. You'd best be more careful."
Seeing this message, He Ping sank into deep thought.
"Could the disturbance at the Millennium Black Demon City have been the Other Shore's doing?"
He arrived at this conclusion, guessing that the activity around the Millennium Black Demon City was likely the work of the Other Shore's forces.
"It is said that after the wyrm dragon of Black Demon City became a corpse demon, it cultivated a Heavenly Corpse Undying Body and nearly transformed into a new Underworld Dragon—a corpse dragon. Fortunately, the Sect Patriarch of that generation personally intervened and used the incomparably powerful treasure, the Gate of Holy Hall, to seal that Wyrm Demon."
He Ping felt that no matter how powerful an ordinary wyrm breed became after death, it would still be limited. It could not compare to an expert on the level of immortals and gods. No matter how formidable that wood wyrm had been in life, after death, even if it became a loose immortal or true immortal, it would fall by a rank and be cast back into the mundane world.
