Vol. 2The Uchiha’s New Home
After fleeing Konoha, the Uchiha Clan found refuge in Iwagakure, where Shōji helped them settle and build ties with the village. He then restored Snow Country’s leadership and secured cooperation with Iwagakure, which began planning a campaign against Sunagakure’s Northern Fortress.
- Fugaku led the Uchiha’s departure from Konoha, but Danzō’s Root forces attacked and Shōji’s Takemikazuchi helped the survivors escape at the cost of Torifu Akimichi’s life.
- Chie urged the clan to focus on survival, and Fugaku chose Iwagakure as their destination after the Uchiha reached the Land of Fire’s northwestern border.
- Shōji persuaded Ōnoki to shelter the Uchiha, and Ōnoki arranged their safe passage and settlement in Iwagakure.
- Shōji and Fugaku met Ōnoki and Han, and they reached preliminary agreements about the Uchiha’s place in the village.
- Shōji urged the Uchiha to cooperate with Iwagakure, and more than a hundred joined its forces as their children prepared for the Ninja Academy.
- Ōnoki assigned Shōji to protect Kazahana Sōsetsu and Kazahana Koyuki, and Shōji reached Snow Country as rebels threatened them.
- Shōji rescued Koyuki, defeated Dōtō, and helped Sōsetsu restore order before negotiating closer ties with Iwagakure.
- Ōnoki approved cooperation with Snow Country and authorized a campaign to seize Sunagakure’s Northern Fortress and its lanthanum deposits.
