At that moment, Shisui, his eyes crimson, thought to himself. He then ignored the Great Elder lying on the floor, turned, and walked straight outside.

Just then, several whooshing sounds rang out as several sharp kunai tore through the air toward Shisui.
Shisui's crimson eyes flickered slightly. Then his figure flashed, and he vanished from where he stood.

The kunai lost their target and fell to the ground.

After seeing his attack so easily evaded, the Anbu who had struck wore an increasingly grave expression beneath his mask. He then turned his gaze toward the unconscious figure inside the room.
A strange light flashed through his eyes. In truth, he had noticed Shisui the instant he appeared. As one of the Tsuchikage's guards, he had witnessed Shisui's actions at the Tsuchikage Building. Like the Great Elder, he knew that he and the other Anbu guards alone could never stop Shisui.
Therefore, when the Great Elder chose to speak with Shisui privately, he did not reveal himself. He merely stayed on high alert, focusing all his attention on Shisui and the Great Elder.
What he had not expected was that Shisui would place the Great Elder under a genjutsu right under his nose, without him noticing anything at all.
