The atmosphere in Konoha's conference room was solemn and tense.
Sakumo sat at the head of the table, calm and composed. Hayato sat just behind him on the right, while the heads of the five great clans sat on either side, each lost in their own thoughts.
Sakumo briefly outlined the current situation. Then the meeting moved on to discussing their battle plan.
The head of the Aburame Clan stood and described in detail their previous clash with the Sky Ninja Village.
Everyone listened intently, now and then frowning or nodding. Tension filled the conference room.
After a heated discussion, they finally reached a consensus: the Sky Ninja were cunning and possessed a wide array of advanced ninja tools. If they failed to settle the matter in one decisive battle, their enemy might escape.
"So this battle will be a lightning strike!" Sakumo declared, his voice firm and forceful.
Hayato pondered for a moment, then looked up at Sakumo.
"Sensei, I'd like to add one more person to this operation."
Sakumo asked in confusion, "Who?"
"Minato Namikaze," Hayato replied. "He's mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique, just like me. I think our plan will be easier to carry out with his help."
Sakumo considered it briefly, then nodded. "In that case, Kenta won't need to take part in this battle. Minato can take his place. You can get in touch with him."
Sakumo then began assigning everyone the supplies they needed to prepare, making sure they were ready for the coming battle.
The meeting ended in a tense but orderly atmosphere. Hayato immediately headed to Minato's home.
