May 14th, Year 27 of Konoha.

Within the Senju clan grounds, the new clansman named Senju Genma lay on his bed with vacant eyes, staring at the Senju Clan Emblem on the wall, which looked like a simple sketch of a tree.

Though Genma appeared to be an infant, he was, to be precise, twenty-two years old, for he was actually a transmigrator.

At first, he had been quite happy; after all, transmigration was usually the treatment reserved for protagonists.

Senju Genma shouted in his heart, but received no response.

Within the Senju clan grounds, at the clan leader's residence.

A white-haired boy asked a blonde woman, "Sister Tsunade, why do you think Lady Mito called for us today? Could it be that she has finally decided to let me learn those powerful ninjutsu?"

The white-haired boy who spoke was Senju Genma, the current young clan head of the Senju clan. The blonde woman walking alongside him was none other than the famous granddaughter of the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama—Tsunade.

As the young clan head, Senju Genma wore a white Japanese-style kimono. His delicate profile was framed by silver-white hair, and his eyes shone like stars.

Having transmigrated into this world six years ago, Senju Genma had long since grown accustomed to his new life.

His family background in this life was exceptional; the name "Senju" said it all.

Senju Genma's self-healing ability reminded her of one person: the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama, who was also capable of healing without the use of hand seals.

Since both belonged to the Senju clan, Uzumaki Mito suspected that Senju Genma might have inherited the Wood Release.

Wood Release was the pride of the Senju clan.

In the past, Senju Hashirama had dominated the ninja world with his Wood Release ninjutsu, earning him the title of the God of Shinobi.

To test whether Senju Genma could use Wood Release, Uzumaki Mito provided him with the Senju clan's chakra refinement methods and some basic Wood Release techniques.

Senju Genma did not disappoint her; it took him only two and a half months to master chakra refinement and successfully perform low-level Wood Release techniques like the Wood Clone Jutsu.

Uzumaki Mito was overjoyed, believing that with Senju Genma, the Senju clan would surely rise to greatness once again.

Uzumaki Mito began raising Senju Genma herself, doting on him immensely and giving him whatever he asked for, even appointing him as the young clan head.

Even the hot-tempered Tsunade had to endure his bullying within the clan.

Every time, Tsunade would end up teary-eyed and hoarse-voiced from his teasing.

However, it was precisely because Senju Genma displayed Wood Release that he caught the eye of Konoha's ultimate villain, the Pot Shadow, Shimura Danzo.

In Danzo's own words: "The power of Wood Release is too dangerous. For the safety of the village, such power should be in my hands."

Fortunately, Uzumaki Mito protected him; otherwise, Senju Genma would have long since been taken away by Danzo to be used for mass-producing Wood Release ninjas.

Although that kind of life didn't sound too bad, it was far too taxing on the body!

Looking at the adorable Senju Genma, Tsunade couldn't resist pulling him onto her lap and beginning to poke and prod at him.

In his eyes, Tsunade was a classic example of someone who was unskilled but loved to play, and she would inevitably end up bullied to the point of tears by him.

Tsunade felt a sense of relief; the two were only distant clansmen, separated by countless generations of bloodline, so there was no issue. Otherwise, she would surely have been dragged off to the Konoha Military Police Force.

"How old are you now? Still acting shy? Your physique is quite good, actually—pretty sturdy!"
