After leaving Spirit City with Ah Yin and Ling Yuan, he confronted Tang Hao and returned to Shrek Academy, where the group prepared to visit the Great Soul Arena.

• Bai Yu proposed a ranked network of Spirit Transmission Towers, and he told Bibi Dong that Spirit Hall should support Heaven Dou’s unification rather than conquer the continent itself.
• Bai Yu warned Bibi Dong about the dangers of ascending to godhood too soon, and she agreed to delay her God Trial while he explained his travels.
• Bai Yu fought Bibi Dong in a public match outside Spirit City, impressing the gathered spectators and prompting Qian Daoliu to invite him to learn about the Angel Deity.
• Bai Yu spent time with Hu Liena and the Golden Generation, then became intimate with Bibi Dong and Hu Liena before discussing godhood and their relationship with Bibi Dong.

Shrek faced the Imperial Fighting Team at the Heaven Dou Great Soul Arena, while Bai Yu battled Chu Huai and brought Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling closer to his circle. After Ye Lingling gained a domain through an immortal herb, Bai Yu and the others prepared to head home.

• Bai Yu brought Shrek to the Heaven Dou Great Soul Arena, where Yu Xiaogang registered as Sunflower Ancestor and defeated Black Bear with Luo Sanpao’s smoke and his speed.
• Shrek lost its team duel to the Imperial Fighting Team after Dugu Yan’s poison and Yu Tianheng’s attacks overwhelmed Tang San and forced Dai Mubai to concede.
• Bai Yu accepted Chu Huai’s challenge and fought him in the sky, where Chu Huai admitted defeat after their final clash.
• Bai Yu introduced Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling to Shrek, then treated everyone to dinner and arranged rooms at the Tiandou Grand Hotel.
• Ning Rongrong, Dugu Yan, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ye Lingling each visited Bai Yu’s room, where the women hid from one another and eventually teased him together.

After nearly two years of research across the continent, he reached the Far North with Gu Yuena and Zi Ji, where Snow Empress agreed to help gather Spirit Beasts.

• Bai Yu and Qian Renxue agreed to build public support for Heaven Dou’s unification, with Qian Renxue eventually returning to become emperor.
• Gu Yuena revealed herself as the Silver Dragon King and helped Bai Yu begin researching high-level Spirit Beast pathways, starting with Zi Ji.
• Bai Yu traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest with Xiao Wu, recorded Er Ming’s and Da Ming’s pathways, and promised Xiao Wu he could someday revive her mother.
• Xiao Wu became Bai Yu’s lover, then told Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing about their relationship after returning to Heaven Dou City.

Bai Yu finished recording the Far North’s powerful Spirit Beasts, then returned to Heaven Dou City as the Soul Master Tournament began. Shrek lost to Skywater Academy, and Bai Yu accepted the team’s invitation to dinner after revealing his age and claiming to have many girlfriends.

• Bai Yu recorded the Far North’s high-level Spirit Beasts, fought the Snow Empress, and left after sharing food with her and the Ice Empress.
• Bai Yu saved Shui Bing’er and the Skywater team from Snow Owls, then returned to Shrek Academy and helped Flender improve the team’s sponsored uniforms.
• Bai Yu warned Shrek about its tournament rivals and advised the team on tactics, including its match against Blazing Fire Academy, which Shrek won.
