Shinku crouched on a towering tree branch, his body leaning slightly forward, both hands braced on his knees, his breathing so light it was nearly inaudible.

He knew that Gama of Sunagakure was no ordinary opponent.

This man was calm to the point of coldness. Whether in combat rhythm or psychological warfare, he displayed the seasoned control of a veteran.

His hands had already formed seals, Chakra faintly gathering in his palms, ready to deal with any possible ambush.

The two Chunin answered in unison. Each drew a Kunai and stood back-to-back, vigilantly scanning their surroundings.

Their movements were smooth and cautious, their toes lightly touching the ground without making a sound.

Under the moonlight, the smoke appeared eerie and hazy, like strands of purple ribbon winding through the forest, making the entire battlefield feel even more oppressive.
