Watching his little maid Xia Lian happily brush sauce onto the grilled fish, Uchiha Yang teased her. "Xia Lian, what's your dream?"
Xia Lian stared at him blankly and gave a confused "Huh?" Then she answered without hesitation, her face full of pride. "My wish is to serve you well, master."
"What a simple and modest wish."
"But why do unexpected guests keep showing up one after another today?"
Uchiha Yang looked at the unfriendly-looking ninjas who had suddenly appeared all around them. They were dressed in black and wore masks, and his mood soured.
He liked living the peaceful life he chose, not one where annoying flies kept appearing out of nowhere.
"Keep grilling the fish. Don't stop." After instructing the little maid, Uchiha Yang turned to the two men. "Go kill them."
"These people mean trouble. Eight times out of ten, they're here for those three. Find out which clan they belong to."
Uchiha Sake and Uchiha Ya released their powerful, vigorous chakra. Only when they attacked did they reveal their Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
"It's the Uchiha!"
"Kill them!"
Seeing the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, the group showed no fear. If anything, their killing intent only grew.
"Interesting." Uchiha Sake curled his lips in disdain and tested the power of his Sharingan.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique."
"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu."
Uchiha Sake and Uchiha Ya didn't even need to speak to coordinate perfectly. The massive amount of steam produced by the fire and water obscured eighty percent of the surrounding area.
Under these conditions, their Three-Tomoe Sharingan let them see everything clearly.
After creating a favorable environment, the two immediately launched their attack. But their enemies seemed familiar with the Uchiha's fighting style and did their best to avoid giving the Sharingan an advantage.

Uchiha Sake swiftly formed Hand Seals and used the defensive Water Style jutsu he had once copied from Senju scum.
Softness overcame force. Though exceptionally sharp, the Wind Cutter couldn't break through the Water Formation Wall and harm Uchiha Sake.
"So you really are Senju scum. I'll send you to meet your former clan leader today."
Once Uchiha Sake confirmed that his opponent was Senju scum, his face lit up with excitement, and his eyes filled with killing intent.
The battle was fierce. The Senju scum had two elite jonin, three regular jonin, and five Chunin.
They were all members of a covert squad Senju Tobirama had sent to investigate the Tailed Beast.
After finally tracking down the Tailed Beast's chakra, they'd been beaten to it. They had assumed it was just some ordinary clan heir out for a stroll, but they hadn't expected to run into Uchiha scum.
Even that wouldn't have been so bad, but three elite jonin with Three-Tomoe Sharingan had shown up. Why would such a force be deployed for no reason? They had to be on some secret mission.
"I didn't expect the Senju Clan to have their eyes on my pet, too."
Uchiha Yang ate his delicious grilled fish and asked his little maid Xia Lian, "What do you think we should do?"
"The Tailed Beast is the pet you've already claimed, master. The Senju Clan dares to covet it anyway. With your strength, you'll wipe out the Senju Clan sooner or later."
Kneeling on a soft cushion, Xia Lian gazed at her master with adoration.
In the little maid's eyes, her master was the strongest and most capable person there was. He was simply low-key most of the time.
"Hahaha, well said. Here, this is your reward."
Uchiha Yang laughed and gave the little maid the rest of his grilled fish.
The fight couldn't last much longer. From the start, the balance of power had been uneven. On their leader's orders, the Senju ninjas scattered and fled in every direction.
Even with the three of them fighting together, Uchiha Sake and the others only managed to kill one Senju elite jonin.
"It looks like our trip is going to be exposed."
After the battle ended, Uchiha Yang went over to the fallen Shadow Guard member. "Give him a proper burial."
Uchiha Kage didn't seem particularly affected. He only thought that the Shadow Guard member who'd died was too weak. How could someone with that level of strength protect their master in the future?
"My lord, should we send word to the clan?"
Uchiha Sake came over to Uchiha Yang and asked in a low voice.
"Xia Lian, get me some paper and a brush."
Uchiha Yang had been thinking the same thing, and called out to Xia Lian beside the carriage.
In the letter, Uchiha Yang made special mention of the Tailed Beast Chakra inside the Jade Pendant, what had just happened, and his suspicion that the Senju Clan was searching for Tailed Beasts to use against the Uchiha.
Then Uchiha Yang handed the sealed letter to Uchiha Sake.
Uchiha Sake passed it to the Summoning Beast he had just summoned.
Summoning Beasts were currently the fastest way for ninjas to send messages.
"My lord, our whereabouts have been exposed. We'll likely face even more enemies next time. Why don't we head back first?"
Uchiha Ya was worried that he wouldn't be able to protect Uchiha Yang, so he couldn't help suggesting it.
Uchiha Yang looked at Uchiha Ya and smiled faintly. "We're continuing to the capital of the Land of Fire. A mere Senju Clan can't change my mind."
"Or are you afraid?"
"If my lord isn't afraid, then neither are we."
Uchiha Sake and Uchiha Ya both had the strange feeling that Uchiha Yang wasn't as simple as they had imagined.
"With you here, I wouldn't be afraid even if the Senju clan leader stood right in front of me."
Uchiha Yang smiled.
"Thank you for your trust, my lord."
Uchiha Sake and Uchiha Ya both felt, for some reason, that their master trusted them deeply.
