"Pfft--!"
The sound was as dull as thunder, mingled with the crisp snap of breaking bone.
Baby's cheek caved in instantly, and a fountain of blood and saliva sprayed from the corner of his mouth.
His form was truly massive—three or four meters tall and weighing at least a ton.
Yet, this Great Ape was kicked away by Jiang Che with such force that it defied the laws of physics, far more absurd than a stone launched from a slingshot.
Baby tumbled through the air like a boulder thrown by a giant, his limbs flailing in a pathetic attempt to regain his balance, but he couldn't find any.
Finally, his heavy body slammed into a jagged mountain peak with a thunderous crash.
You could hear the mountain itself wailing; half of it collapsed with a roar, sending a rain of debris and churning dust down, causing the very ground to tremble.
He struggled to rise from the pile of rubble, covered in dust, his knees knocking together and his head still ringing.
He spat out a mouthful of broken teeth, his mouth dripping with blood, the ferocity in his eyes now completely replaced by sheer terror.
His gaze was unfocused, his body shaking like a sieve, and he managed to choke out, "This is impossible... absolutely impossible... I clearly possess the strongest Saiyan body, how could I still be suppressed by you?"
Jiang Che landed slowly, not even kicking up a speck of dust beneath his feet.
His hands hung naturally at his sides, a mocking smirk playing on his lips: "The strongest body? What you obtained was merely an ordinary Saiyan who couldn't even transform into a Super Saiyan God; you were just listening to hearsay."
His voice was soft, yet it pierced Baby's heart like a blade.
"Super Saiyan God?" Baby froze, his body stiffening, his eyes filled with a confusion and shock he had never known before. "What is that?"
This time, Jiang Che ignored him, standing silently in the night, his long hair and robes fluttering in the wind.
Suddenly, he raised his hand, fingers splayed, and a red energy sphere the size of a fist condensed in his palm out of thin air.
The energy sphere spun like a whirlwind, humming with a deafening vibration. Its surface flowed with the color of scorching magma, tearing through the surrounding air with every rotation, blasting away the nearby rubble and dust. The air was thick with the smell of burning, so hot it seemed to warp.
"I can transform into a Super Saiyan God," Jiang Che said, his tone chillingly calm, "simply because—"
His figure flickered, and he vanished from the spot as if he had evaporated, leaving no trace behind.
Only two deep cracks remained on the ground where he had launched himself.
"—I don't want you to die too quickly."
His voice had already reached behind Baby.
The Great Ape's fur stood on end, his entire body trembling violently.
His instincts screamed that the danger was absolute.
He whipped his head around, his eyes nearly bulging from their sockets, only to see Jiang Che's fist, swift as a thunderbolt.
There was no flair, just pure speed and pure power.
The air around that fist was compressed into a white shield, whistling as it tore through the night like a meteor shattering the firmament.
"BOOM--!!"
The punch landed squarely in the center of Baby's back.
His proud fur and muscles, hard enough to withstand artillery fire, were pierced through in an instant as if they were made of paper.
The red energy erupted, like a scorching dragon—blasting straight through from his back to his chest!
A bowl-sized hole appeared, surrounded by searing crimson energy that continued to burn his flesh, sending up wisps of blue smoke and filling the air with the stench of charred meat.
"AAHH--!!" Baby shrieked, his voice stripped of its beastly majesty, leaving only utter resentment and fear.
His massive body collapsed with a thud, kicking up a ten-meter wave of dust, the ground cracking like a spiderweb beneath him.
The earth itself shuddered from the impact of that blow.
Baby's limbs twitched, dark red blood spraying from his mouth, his once-ferocious gaze now filled only with despair and confusion.
He tried to raise his hand, to struggle, but he couldn't even move a finger—that punch had destroyed every shred of his vitality.
Jiang Che walked over slowly, his steps steady and unhurried.
He looked down at the dying Baby, his crimson eyes devoid of even a hint of pity.
The moonlight stretched his shadow long, pinning it over the Great Ape's body like a judge descending upon the world.
He spoke indifferently: "You could have actually stayed in some corner of Earth, slowly developing your own kind. Like a venomous snake hiding in a gutter, devouring the world bit by bit. Unfortunately, you were too greedy."
Every time Baby moved, his body spasmed as if his nerves were snapping like threads. Blood flowed incessantly from his chest and mouth, pooling into a puddle on the ground.
His voice was cracked and hoarse, filled with primal fear: "Who... who exactly are you? How could Earth have a Saiyan like you? You aren't just an ordinary Saiyan... you shouldn't exist in this world..."
"Who I am is irrelevant." Jiang Che raised his hand again, a second energy sphere condensing in his palm.
This one was larger, faster, and the deafening sound of the airflow made one's heart tighten; the air was thick with the scent of destruction.
He looked down, his tone calm with the finality of a verdict: "What matters is that your Tuffle revival plan ends here."
"No! Don't kill me! Please, spare me!" Baby's defenses completely collapsed, his massive body shaking violently on the ground.
He scrambled backward, but trapped by rubble and twisted steel, he could only writhe like a worm.
He cried and screamed, his voice shrill and broken, filled with the madness of despair: "I can tell you many things! The secrets of the universe! Where the gods are! The whereabouts of the God of Destruction! Even Frieza's resurrection plan! As long as you spare me, I'll tell you everything, I'll say it all—"
Jiang Che did not answer.
He simply watched in silence, the red energy sphere in his hand spinning with increasing intensity, its glow bathing everything in a blood-red hue.
He slowly shook his head, a trace of irony touching the corners of his mouth: "My apologies. Your little secret holds no value to me. I have no interest in the belongings of a parasite."
Before the words had even faded, he raised his right hand high. The energy sphere suddenly expanded—what had been the size of a fist transformed in the blink of an eye into a miniature, ignited sun, its blue-white radiance bleaching all color from the world.
The air shrieked piercingly, and the rampaging energy caused the ground to crack layer by layer, sending shattered stones flying into the air.
The surroundings were completely illuminated by the dazzling blue-white light, leaving the earth in a state of deathly silence.
"This, this is not—!!!"
Baby's massive body trembled frantically, his crimson eyes finally shattering with absolute terror. His scream threatened to tear the night sky apart, but it was already too late.
