Volume One: Detective Conan, Chapter 28: Success and Return

"Mm..." When Yukiko felt Lin Maoxian's lips press against hers, she was both shocked and furious. She had thought he was a good man, and that Eri had finally found a decent one. She never imagined he would do something like this. No, she couldn't let him get away with it.

Yukiko was about to struggle, slap him, or bite his lip to make him stop. Just then, Lin Maoxian's large hand had already found her breasts, his nimble fingers teasing the two points there. At the same time, a heat rose in her heart, clouding her mind and leaving her dazed. She couldn't even defend herself before her lips were gradually conquered and her tongue entwined with Lin Maoxian's.

Lin Maoxian knew he couldn't hold back any longer. He tossed Yukiko onto the sofa, stripped off his clothes, and pounced on her.

"No... don't..." Yukiko had just managed to catch her breath, and her senses had begun to return. She pleaded with Lin Maoxian as he lunged at her.

Lin Maoxian said nothing. One hand continued to caress Yukiko's body while the other returned to where it had been, rubbing there. When Yukiko's ** had grown stiff, Lin Maoxian leaned close to her ear, lightly nibbled her earlobe, and asked, "Don't? What don't you want, Yukiko?"

Lost in Lin Maoxian's caresses, Yukiko murmured, "Don't... don't... stop..."

Lin Maoxian said nothing more. He roughly tore off the rest of her clothes, took hold of his 'brother,' and charged toward that ideal sanctuary.

"Mm..."

"Mm..."

Lin Maoxian and Yukiko both let out sighs that seemed full of satisfaction.

In the quiet room, voices rang out now and then: "Faster... keep going..." "Don't... stop..."

When Yukiko awoke, the sun was already high in the sky, its light blinding. As she tried to sit up, pain in her lower body reminded her that the passionate events of the previous night had not been a fantasy; they had really happened. Thinking of their intense 'battle,' Yukiko blushed. She vaguely remembered that they had left traces of their 'battle' on the sofa, in the kitchen, in the living room, and in the hallway.

"Bastard! You just left like that? What do you take me for? After doing that to me, you didn't even leave so much as an explanation. Damn bastard!" Glancing around the empty room, Yukiko knew the man had already left and returned to China. He had done that to her, then simply put on his pants and left without a word. He really was an out-and-out bastard.

"Damn you. Next time I see you, you'd better give me an explanation." Yukiko cursed angrily. After finding a fresh outfit in the wardrobe and getting dressed, she went downstairs and cleaned up some of the 'battle' traces. Once she had finished, she went to the garage and drove away.

Twenty minutes later, Yukiko's car pulled up in front of an office building.

After taking the elevator to the floor she wanted, Yukiko opened the office door.

Seeing who had arrived, Kisaki Eri, seated inside, froze. "Yukiko, it's you. What brings you here?"

Yukiko walked over and sat down on the sofa before answering, "What? You don't want me here?"

"No, it's just that you've never come here before, so I was a little surprised you showed up today," Kisaki Eri explained.

"Can't I come by for no reason? Though I really do have something to take care of today. That man asked me to give this to you." As she spoke, Yukiko handed over the passbook from the day before.

Kisaki Eri took it and looked it over. It contained a sum of money. "Who asked you to give this to me? Was it Lin?"

"Not bad—you guessed who it was. But, Eri, I need to have a serious talk with you. He's not a good man. You shouldn't get involved with him." Thinking of what the man had done to her the previous night, Yukiko lodged a fierce complaint against him to Kisaki Eri.

"Why would you say that? I think Lin is a good man," Kisaki Eri asked, puzzled.

"Uh..." Yukiko didn't know what to say. She couldn't exactly tell her that the man had done those things to her the night before. For a moment, she was at a loss for words, and fell silent.

When Yukiko didn't answer, Kisaki Eri didn't take it to heart. She touched the jade pendant around her neck and thought silently, Lin, you have to come back for me. I'll wait for you, forever!

"The Adventurer has completed the main mission. Spatial transmission commencing..."

As the countdown transmitted by the space ended, Lin Maoxian's vision went black. In the next instant, he felt as if gravity had vanished, and his whole body began rising at lightning speed. When his eyesight returned and he recovered from that strange sensation of weightlessness, he found himself standing in an immense, boundless void!

Starlight shimmered all around him. Clearly, he had returned to the place where he had first entered the space.

Looking at the glittering starlight once more, Lin Maoxian was still deeply shaken. For a long time, he couldn't bring himself to speak.

"Whoosh..." Before Lin Maoxian could react, another streak of starlight shot over from afar and plunged into his body in an instant. At the same time, a three-dimensional screen appeared before him. It first showed him as he had been when he entered the 'World of the Great Detective,' then depicted all his experiences, as though another version of himself were reliving everything he had done in the World of the Great Detective.

The images finally stopped at the moment just before he returned, then faded away. Information appeared on the screen:
