Newt Scamander took two steps closer, sniffed, and his expression changed. "The smell of dragon?"

Tom exclaimed in surprise, "You can smell that? Mr. Newt Scamander, are you sure you're not some kind of Fantastic Beasts in disguise?"

His dragon aura was well concealed; apart from Fantastic Beasts with keen intuition, humans couldn't sense it at all. Unexpectedly, Newt Scamander actually detected it with his nose.

Newt Scamander ignored his teasing, frowned, and sniffed carefully. "It's not quite the same. It's not an ordinary fire dragon."

He glanced at Tom. "You have another strong smell on you. Even if you've been in contact with a dragon, you shouldn't have this odor!"

"This matter is directly related to the reason I came to see you," Tom said bluntly.

He said frankly, "Let's go inside and discuss the details. I do indeed need your help."

"No problem, I'll help if I can." Newt Scamander agreed without even thinking, without asking Tom what he wanted to do.

He never suspected that the boy had any bad intentions. In his eyes, a boy should be pure, and he never used dark thoughts to speculate about others.

Tom slapped his forehead, suddenly remembering something, "System, deduct six credits."

The Study Space was open, and Gellert Grindelwald was in the Meditation Hut, eyes closed, seemingly contemplating some kind of magic.

Tom used his permission to teleport the person out.

Gellert Grindelwald was still deep in thought, his perception of the outside world a beat slower than usual. He frowned and opened his eyes.

Then he saw Newt Scamander Scamander standing in front of Tom.

Gellert Grindelwald's eye twitched; he recognized the other man instantly, his guard immediately dropping, and he yelled at the top of his lungs, "Scamander, you son of a bitch!"

The greetings that had been hidden for decades suddenly surged forth, and the old man was truly overwhelmed.

The shouting and cursing in the Study Space almost lifted the roof off; even Andros was so disturbed by the noise that he ran out.

He sat there dumbfounded, watching Gellert Grindelwald point at the outside world and start cursing.

In his memory, Grindelwald had always been an elegant and proper academic wizard, and even as a dark wizard, he possessed an elegant and captivating charm.

At this moment, they resembled shrewish women in Greece village arguing over a fish, their spittle practically splattering against the spatial barrier.

"Study Space, muffle the noise." Tom smiled innocently and turned off the noise with a flick of his wrist.

He turned around and continued walking with Newt Scamander in the garden, but he didn't turn off the camera. Gellert Grindelwald didn't exit either, his eyes wide open, staring intently at Newt Scamander and cursing.

He even sang in his native language, spewing all sorts of strange and unusual swear words, which opened Andros's eyes wide, and he secretly memorized a whole bunch of new words.

The Fantastic Beasts in the garden are just the tip of the iceberg, after all, the space outside is limited.

The real "big stuff" is all in Newt Scamander's suitcase that strikes fear into the hearts of the entire Ministry of Magic.

To be honest, in Britain, Voldemort's reputation is unmatched, even surpassing Gellert Grindelwald's.

In terms of global reputation, Voldemort was at best a fledgling, somewhat famous figure.

It was because Albus Dumbledore kept him firmly in Britain, and Voldemort was so obsessed that he wouldn't leave Britain until he killed Albus Dumbledore.

But Newt Scamander was different. The Britain admired him, considered him their pride, and showered him with praise.

In many countries, Newt Scamander's reputation has long been at its peak, on par with Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald.

Tom had researched this before; many countries' Ministry of Magic have this absurd rule in their laws.

Mr. Scamander. Newt Scamander is welcome to visit, but if he is found carrying a suitcase, he will be immediately fined the maximum amount and deported.

As for locking him up in a wizarding prison? Don't be ridiculous. If you're so capable, go argue with those terrifying Fantastic Beasts in his suitcase whose level and number you don't know.

Tom found the rule amusing, yet he could understand it.

Newt Scamander sometimes causes more destruction than most dark wizards in his efforts to protect Fantastic Beasts.

The incident in New York back then is the best example; behind every outrageous regulation lies an even more bizarre past.

Tom was curious about just how badly Newt Scamander had tormented the Ministry of Magic in those countries to issue such drastic laws.

Once he gets closer to Newt Scamander, he'll definitely have to ask him properly.

Unfortunately, after strolling through the garden, Newt Scamander led him into the villa without mentioning opening the suitcase at all.

The two sat down in the living room, Tom looked at Newt Scamander, who was a good four or five meters away from him, and his lips twitched.

We kept at least five meters apart the whole time we were walking. Why is this social anxiety getting worse as I get older?

Newt Scamander gave an awkward laugh. "Tom, I'm sorry, I..." Newt Scamander nervously rubbed his hands, then stopped mid-sentence.

"It's alright, Uncle Newt Scamander, I understand." Tom interrupted him, smiling sincerely. "Albus Dumbledore told me quite a bit about you."

Newt Scamander nodded gratefully, finally relaxing a bit, and got straight to the point. "Tell me your problem. Since you've come to me, it must be related to Fantastic Beasts."

"You're right," Tom said, deliberately releasing a small portion of his dragon's might.

Suddenly, a chorus of panicked screams erupted from outside the window. Newt Scamander's expression changed, and he stared at him in astonishment. "A bloodline wizard? Or Dragon Blood?"

"That's right," Tom said casually. "Around Christmas, I killed a fire dragon, the one that escaped from the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary."

"Oh, it's you?" Newt Scamander had barely finished his reply when he suddenly realized what was happening, his eyes widening in disbelief.

"Say that again? That's a fire-breathing dragon! You've only been enrolled for one semester, and you dare to kill a fire-breathing dragon? Are all the young wizards at Hogwarts this wild these days?"

Tom scratched his head shyly, looking innocent with a "I can't help it" expression.

"I'm a little more talented, and I have a good teacher, so I've progressed faster. I can understand that, right?"

"I can understand." Newt Scamander nodded numbly, his mind still buzzing. These young people these days are getting more and more outrageous.

"If you feel that my killing of the dragon goes against your principles of protecting Fantastic Beasts, then I won't trouble you any further; I'll find a way myself."

Tom put it bluntly: he liked Newt Scamander's straightforward nature; it was better to be direct than to beat around the bush.

If Newt Scamander can't accept it, he can leave now and go to the Thunderbird Sanctuary by himself. He can just avoid the wizards there and be careful.

Newt Scamander quickly shook his head. "That's different. That fire dragon escaped the protected area; it was a threat in itself. Its death is nobody's fault but its own."

"This is completely different from poachers hunting Fantastic Beasts in protected areas." The old man rarely joked, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"I am, after all, human, and I must stand on the side of humanity. My dream is to find a balance between humans and Fantastic Beasts."
