"Perfect! Hufflepuff five points!" Ross nodded with a smile. "To be honest, I love your point system. Ilvermorny wouldn't be so generous."

He pressed further, "Then do you know which house at Hogwarts corresponds to Wampus School?"

Susan was momentarily stunned, then shook her head. That was all the information the library could provide; she had already told them everything.

Malfoy tentatively began, "The Horned Serpent, shouldn't it be more like Slytherin? After all, you said the Founders was a descendant of Slytherin."

Ross shook his head. "Half right, not entirely right."

"The Horned Serpent represents shrewdness and wisdom, placing it somewhere between Slytherin and Ravenclaw."

He paused, then his tone became serious. "Actually, many of you possess multiple qualities, you just haven't noticed them."

"We can try digging deeper later. Who says a loyal person can't be shrewd?"

"Who says ambitious people can't be kind? Don't let the label of 'academic' bind you."

Tom raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised.

When they first met, he thought Ross was an unreliable brute. After all, someone who would sleep with another man's wife just to get revenge seemed abnormal.

But what these words said today are truly invaluable words of wisdom, enough for these students to remember for a lifetime.

After a brief opening, Ross got straight to the point and tapped on the blackboard.

"I have a question for everyone: As wizards, what is the first spell we should learn in the Defense Against the Dark Arts field?"

The students immediately erupted in chatter, all vying to answer.

"Stunning Spell! It's the easiest way to paralyze the enemy!"

"Petrificus Totalus! You can't move at all, you're completely at their mercy!"

"No, no, it should be Disarming Charm, Disarming Charm! Let's take their wand first!"

"I think the Impediment Jinx is the simplest and easiest to learn!"

Everyone has their own reasons, Ross just watched with a smile, neither denying nor affirming them.

After everyone had finished arguing, he slowly spoke up, "What you all said makes sense, and it's your freedom."

"But in Ilvermorny, there is only one standard answer to this question: the Iron Armor Charm."

Everyone was stunned; no one had expected it to be the Iron Armor Charm.

Everyone was talking about offensive spells, and nobody mentioned this most basic defensive spell.

One student couldn't help but retort, "But isn't the Iron Armor Charm something you learn in fourth or fifth grade?"

Don't be fooled by the seemingly Iron Armor Charm; it's actually quite difficult to cast. Even many employees of the Ministry of Magic can't cast a complete Iron Armor Charm.

"That's just the Hogwarts curriculum," Ross said, waving his wand.

The blackboard was instantly covered with dense writing, all of which were the incantations and spellcasting techniques of the Iron Armor Charm.

"At Ilvermorny, every student's first lesson in Defense Against the Dark Magic begins with the Iron Armor Charm."

"Even if you have no prior knowledge, you must memorize the incantations and techniques."

"Furthermore, the Iron Armor Charm we learned is different from what you know; it's a modified United States version that emphasizes physical defense, especially in terms of impact."

Tom raised an eyebrow, already having a guess in mind.

Ross continued, "In United States, wizards have a lot of trouble."

"The enemies include not only dark wizards and dangerous Fantastic Beasts, but also spells that I accidentally cast myself, but the most dangerous are those Muggle."

He paused, then asked, "Do you know anything about guns?"

The young wizard, Half-blood and Muggle-born, nodded naturally.

Many Pure-blood, however, looked completely bewildered, having never even heard of it.

Ross waved his wand, and a curtain fell from above the blackboard, the classroom windows closed automatically, and the room instantly went dark.

In a corner, a strange machine emitted a faint light, attracting many curious onlookers.

Tom immediately recognized it as a hand-cranked projector.

Hogwarts forbids the use of electronic devices, but purely mechanical things are not restricted, except that the light-emitting device is replaced with a magical light source.

Ross walked to the projector, turned the lever, and pictures began to appear on the screen.

"Firearms are one of the greatest and most evil inventions of Muggle."

"They used this thing to slaughter hundreds of millions of their compatriots. Oh, sorry, I might be overestimating your math skills."

"One hundred million is the same as 100,000 Hogwarts. Now you get the idea, right?"

"In addition to firearms, Muggle have also developed a number of weapons of mass destruction, but those pose little threat to us."

"The Ministry of Magic has a dedicated department monitoring the situation, and if any disturbance occurs, they will notify local wizards to evacuate immediately."

"But guns are the only weapon that can make a wizard no different from Muggle when we're caught off guard; they can still be shot through."

"Impossible!" Malfoy immediately bristled, his face full of disdain. "We know magic! What can those Muggle do besides busywork?"

Ross glanced at him, his tone dismissive. "Do you know the Iron Armor Charm?"

Malfoy's face flushed instantly, and after stammering for a long time, he finally managed to stammer, "I... I'll definitely be able to learn it in the future!"

"Do you know Non-verbal Spell? Do you know quick Non-verbal Spell? Do you know how fast a bullet travels?"

Ross bombarded Malfoy with questions until he was speechless, then continued.

"That's right, as long as you master the Iron Armor Charm, ordinary firearms really can't hurt you."

The scene on the screen changed, showing a wizard being shot at with a pistol. The bullets were all deflected by the Iron Armor Charm, flying around without even touching the hem of his clothes.

"But if the enemy uses a more powerful sniper rifle or armor-piercing rounds, the ordinary Iron Armor Charm will be useless."

The scene shifted again, and a wizard's Iron Armor Charm was instantly pierced.

The bullet grazed his arm, struck the target behind him, and left a dark bullet hole.

"In the United States, the average person owns 1.2 guns, and many people also possess high-powered weapons."

"And we have a lot of freedom there, with firefights every day, especially among gang members."

"I once witnessed 12 gang fights in a single day. The number of dead in that fight was more than your entire class."

"This means that any Muggle you randomly encounter on the streets of United States could pose a deadly threat to you."

"In this situation, isn't the Iron Armor Charm the most important spell to master?"

The Pure-blood were completely stunned. They held their breath, their faces pale, and their eyes filled with terror.

They never imagined that the Muggle world could be so terrifying, even more frightening than dark wizards.

The slides played one by one, each depicting bloody scenes of Muggle fighting, with blood splattering everywhere, a truly horrifying sight.

In the very last picture, a wizard is hit by a bullet and falls to the ground instantly.

The classroom was completely silent; you could hear even the sound of breathing.

Ross drew back the curtains and reopened the windows, letting in the warm sunlight. Everyone calmed down a little, their backs still damp with cold sweat.
