The three women removed their scarves and hats; the one who had been rescued was Hannah Abbott of Hufflepuff.

The complainant was Susan Amelia Bones, a student in the same year, and the last one was Eleanor Ashworth, a second-year student.

"Eleanor Ashworth, second year of Hufflepuff." The other person extended their hand.

"Tom Riddle, Slytherin, first year."

"Why would you cook in the Forbidden Forest? Isn't the castle canteen better?" Tom asked, puzzled.

"The House-elf ' cooking is so mediocre. They eat the same few things every day. I'm so tired of it." Hannah's voice trailed off.

"But we can't cook in the dorms. Filch and Mrs. Norris are in the castle; they have very sensitive noses. We can only come to the Forbidden Forest."

Tom looked at her. "You mean, your skills are better than House-elf's?"

Hannah puffed out her chest proudly. "Of course! I love cooking the most!"

"Really? I don't believe it. Let me try."

Tom picked up the bowl and spoon and ladled himself a bowl. The soup was thick, the beef was tender, and the onions had dissolved into the broth. He took a sip.

Yes, it's really good. The refreshing onion, the creamy butter, and the tender, flavorful beef.

It whets the appetite and has a peculiar fragrance—not from spices, but from herbs.

"Did you add herbs?" Tom asked.

Hannah's eyes lit up. "Yes! Many herbs can actually be used as spices. You'll never guess what I put in the soup." Hannah was a little smug.

"Bell-shaped fungus."

Hannah's mouth dropped open. "How did you know?"

"The smell of bell mushrooms is very distinctive, like truffles, but milder."

Tom finished his soup and gave Hannah a thumbs-up. "You're the best little cook at Hogwarts."

Hannah blushed, and Susan and Eleanor laughed beside her.

"Call me next time we have a get-together. If you're missing any ingredients, just let me know. I know the kitchen House-elf," Tom said, patting his chest.

The three of them had strange expressions: it felt odd, yet somehow, that they were familiar with the kitchen House-elf in front of Hufflepuff, but there was nothing wrong with it.

After the meal, all three agreed that Tom was a glutton, a glutton who could eat a lot, and a glutton who knew how to flatter.

Susan asked, "Riddle, what are you doing in the Forbidden Forest?"

"I'm looking for some ingredients. The shops in Diagon Alley don't have all the stock, and the ones from the Forbidden Forest aren't as fresh, so their medicinal effects are much worse. I'll just look for them here."

Hannah warned him, "There are many dangerous animals in the Forbidden Forest. Don't go too deep; just search the edges."

Tom nodded. "Thank you, I know, don't worry."

After parting ways with the Hufflepuff trio, Tom continued deeper into the Forbidden Forest.

He cast a lightness spell on himself, making his steps as light as if he were walking on cotton, with fallen leaves making almost no sound under his feet.

Moonlight filtered through the gaps in the tree canopy, casting silvery patches of light on the ground.

He first collected the Mooncalf's droppings and put them in a bag. This stuff is an ingredient for high-level Potions, and it sells for five Galleon a jar in Knockturn Alley.

We found monkey frog eggs again; they were transparent, like tiny glass beads, shimmering in the moonlight.

I also pulled out a few Porcupine Quills; they were so sharp they pricked my hand.

Being a wizard and cultivating immortality are not much different; pills and spirit stones are replaced with Potions materials, and the essence is the same: improvement.

He was grateful that his dean was a Potions Master, and that there was a tendency for him to be accepted as his first and last disciple.

His Potions skills improved by leaps and bounds.

The system panel flashed.

[Host has unlocked the Forbidden Forest Depths, gaining 20 achievement points. Current achievement points: 323.]

Tom stopped in his tracks; he was less than a hundred points away from summoning another teacher.

He had high hopes for his new teacher, wishing the next one to be a wizard from the 15th century onwards.

The modern magic system is already largely complete. If an ancient powerhouse were to appear, it would only be a matter of reversing the natural order and giving us a reverse lesson first.

Inside the Study Space, Andros suddenly sneezed, rubbed his nose, and mumbled something that Tom couldn't hear.

The deeper parts were noticeably different; the air was damp and the trees were dense. He slowed his pace, memorizing the terrain while remaining vigilant.

One of those giant Acromantula is easy to deal with, but a swarm of them can be deadly; he doesn't want to be ganged up on.

After walking for a short while, a patch of wild nettles came into view, gnawed and mangled.

Tom's eyes lit up: There were small animals around.

Sure enough, a nest of Glumbumble were sleeping soundly under the tree hole.

This is a real gem, the core ingredient of the Strengthening Solution. Drink a bottle before battle, and your strength and speed will instantly jump to a whole new level.

With a Stunning Spell cast, Tom picked up half, leaving the other half to continue breeding; sustainable development is the only way forward.

A deep, muffled roar came from the northwest. The sound was strange, like a water buffalo, but with a more ferocious quality.

Tom turned off the light from his wand, crouched behind the bushes, and held his breath.

A huge bison emerged from behind the bushes; its fur was golden and shimmered silvery-white in the moonlight.

It is twice the size of a regular bison, with long horns that extend from the top of its head to its back, and the tips of the horns are black.

The Re'em Re'em, which are distributed in North America and the Far East, have actually appeared in the Forbidden Forest. These creatures are even rarer than fire dragons.

Tom's eyes lit up. The blood of the Re'em had the effect of strengthening the body, and anyone who drank it would have their strength greatly increased.

The Ministry of Magic worldwide had long ago enacted laws banning the hunting of Re'em, but their prices on the black market continued to rise.

He stood up, spread his arms wide, hopped back and forth on his feet, and made strange noises.

By mimicking the actions of animals that initiate a challenge, the Re'em received the signal and its unease disappeared.

It lowered its head, pointed its horns at Tom, and pawed the ground twice with its front hooves.

Tom tentatively cast a shock spell; the magic landed on the cow's back, only causing its fur to twitch before disappearing.

This long fur has extremely strong defensive capabilities. He not only needs to take its blood, but also pluck some of its fur to make bulletproof vests for the magical world.

Andros became interested. "Kid, let me see just how far you've gone after taking so many enhancement drugs. It'll be more interesting than sparring with your classmates."

The Re'em charged forward, moving incredibly fast, like a golden tank.

Tom pointed his wand at the ground and quickly chanted a spell, causing a path of ice to rapidly form beneath his feet.

The cow charged forward, its hooves slipping on the ice, and it fell heavily to the ground.

Tom didn't give it a chance to get up; icy chains rose from the ground and bound the cow's limbs.

The ox struggled, the chains tightened, and the use of ice magic in the icy wilderness not only saved time and effort by utilizing readily available materials, but also significantly increased its power.

"Concussive Impact! Dizziness! Severing Charm!"

The spells were all aimed at the head, not to kill, but to knock the Re'em unconscious.
