In outer space.
Frieza continued fleeing for his life. Only after he had put hundreds of thousands of kilometers between himself and Namek did he finally stop.
He was in outer space.
Normally, he should have been unable to breathe, but Frieza could pant by some special means.
He stopped running because the threat of death had passed.
He quickly came to his senses. The anger and resentment in his heart once again overcame the fear that had taken hold of him.
"Damn it!! This is unforgivable!! How dare you make me look so pathetic!!"
Staring at the empty space where his left arm had been, Frieza roared.
He had cut off his own arm to escape, but the humiliation would be etched into his memory for the rest of his life!
Even though he had survived, everything that had happened today had cost him his dignity.
It was one thing if no one found out. But if word got out, Frieza, Emperor of the Universe, would become a laughingstock.
Especially to his older brother, with whom he had never gotten along!
If Cooler found out what had happened to him, he would probably laugh himself silly.
"No!!! I'll never let you get away with this, Saiyan Monkey! You brought this on yourself! You let me escape into space! As a Saiyan, all you can do now is watch from the planet! I refuse to believe you can still stop me from blowing up Namek!!!"
Frieza gazed back at Namek, his expression growing crazed, almost deranged.
He had to get even!
He had to blow up Namek and vent the hatred in his heart.
Raising his right hand, Frieza began gathering another Planet Destroyer Bomb.
The successive battles and his final burst of power had left him with less than half his energy, but that was still enough.
Frieza's madness had reached its peak.
He laughed wildly in space, venting his emotions in the most direct way possible.
But just as the Planet Destroyer Bomb took shape and was about to expand, a voice reached Frieza's ears.
"Frieza, Frieza. You really can't teach an old dog new tricks, can you? You just escaped Namek, and now you're already up to no good again."
Frieza sucked in a sharp breath and spun around in disbelief.
The person standing behind him was none other than Ron.
"You—you Saiyan Monkey, how can you... How can you..."
Fear once again gripped his heart.
He had never imagined that even after fleeing into outer space and putting such a vast distance between himself and Namek, he would still be caught without so much as a sound.
Most importantly, how could a Saiyan survive in outer space? How had he managed it?
"What's wrong? Wondering how I can survive in space?" Ron looked at Frieza with a smile and answered the question on his mind.
Without waiting for Frieza to speak, Ron continued, "Never mind. Why bother explaining? As far as I'm concerned, you're already dead. Besides, I've had my fun!"
As he spoke, Ron raised his hands and formed energy spheres of different colors, one gold and one blue.
In all the years since he had come to this world, he hadn't just trained in the secret techniques of Devouring World or copied skills from the original Dragon Ball story. He had also developed plenty of unique moves of his own.
This attack was inspired by Vegito's Final Kamehameha, but its energy composition and method of attack were completely different.
One sphere was azure, formed from the concentrated power of his mind. The other was golden, made from the energy within his body.
When the two energies merged into gold and blue, their power rose to a whole new level. A bloodthirsty smile curled Ron's lips.
Frieza teetered on the brink of despair, his mind going blank.
He stared dumbly, forgetting how to speak and even how to fight back.
"Turn to stardust, Frieza! Spiral Annihilation Cannon!!!"
As his shout rang through space, carried by his energy, the mass of intertwined gold and blue burst open, transforming into a spiraling energy cannon that shot toward Frieza.
Its speed was unimaginable. In almost an instant, it streaked across outer space and completely engulfed Frieza.
There was no explosion or roar, nor did anything unexpected happen.
Frieza, Emperor of the Universe, barely had time to scream before Ron's overwhelmingly powerful attack annihilated him.
His body was reduced to ashes, and the Planet Destroyer Bomb he had just formed—still not fully expanded—was crushed and erased from existence as well.
It was an absolute gap in power, an annihilation that could not be resisted.
The Spiral Annihilation Cannon blazed like a brilliant river of stars. It continued for hundreds of thousands of kilometers, grazing Namek, before Ron finally lowered his hands and let it gradually fade away.
The attack had vanished, but it had left its mark.
Meanwhile.
North King Kai's Planet.
After watching Ron catch up with Frieza in an instant and kill him with ease, North Kai was completely stunned.
So this was a Super Saiyan. He was so powerful that Frieza was nothing more than an ant before him.
North Kai had completely forgotten to wonder how Ron, a Saiyan, could survive in outer space. His mind was filled with one thought: He's powerful. Far too powerful.
"King Kai, is Frieza really gone this time?"
"Yeah. It's not another trick, is it? Maybe he's still alive."
Tien Shinhan and Yamcha asked one after another.
They had already celebrated once before, after all. Who could have expected Frieza to survive the Spirit Bomb?
"To be safe, I'll check with King Yemma. If Frieza is dead, his soul will definitely report to the underworld." North Kai didn't dare make any promises this time, so he immediately contacted King Yemma at King Yemma's Palace.
A short while later.
King Yemma's Palace.
Seated high on his throne, King Yemma was speaking solemnly to thin air.
His tone was exceptionally respectful, every word cautious, with even a hint of flattery.
He paid no attention to the ogres and spirits gathered around him.
Even Frieza, Emperor of the Universe, who was standing before him and shouting for him to give up his seat, didn't register.
"Yes, King Kai. Frieza's soul is standing right in front of me. He's even demanding that I hand over my position as ruler of the underworld..."
"Yes, yes, I know. I know. Frieza is utterly wicked, so we should send him to Hell for rehabilitation first."
"Of course, of course. We'll arrange a dedicated rehabilitation program afterward. We'll be sure to cleanse him of that overwhelming aura of sin and help him see the beauty of the underworld."
"All right, then. That's everything. Sorry for the trouble."
After ending the call, King Yemma wiped the cold sweat beading on his forehead.
