Chaos reigned within the Seireitei.

The barrier that had originally enveloped the Seireitei had been completely destroyed by that attack as well.

Clad in a mantle of flames, the Head Captain Flash Stepped before Dunn. He drew Zanka no Tachi to his side, then slashed horizontally at Dunn.

Before the blade, space shattered layer by layer, only to mend itself at incredible speed.

A soft sound rang out.

Dunn had been knocked out of the Seireitei by the previous thrust, yet this slash was even stronger than before—and its horizontally swinging blade was caught in one hand.

Grasping the scorching Zanka no Tachi, Dunn looked at the Head Captain's face, distorted by rage and spiritual pressure.

His white beard and eyebrows fluttered beneath the force of his spiritual pressure.

Though having his blade caught was unexpected, the Head Captain did not hesitate for even a moment. His right hand released the hilt at once, and then a fist wrapped in an immense amount of spiritual pressure struck Dunn in the chest.

After a deafening boom, Dunn's body did not even sway.

At that moment, more than a dozen figures appeared nearby.

Not only had all the captains arrived, but several members of Zero Division had come as well.

Seeing this, Dunn released the blade in his hand. Smiling, he raised his hands and took two steps back.
