Li Yi knew that the Second Kazekage had probably seen this ability of his. He hadn't expected the Second Kazekage to have so many tricks up his sleeve, either. The key was that he'd thought of poisoning the Hidden Mist Technique—a move so underhanded it was almost impressive.

The shinobi of Kirigakure had used this technique for decades and had never thought of poisoning anyone. Didn't this make them look like idiots?

After smashing through dozens of sand walls, the Fire Fist lost much of its power. The other Kirigakure shinobi, who hadn't moved until then, formed a Hand Seal with one hand and raised numerous walls of ice around himself. Only then did he manage to stop Li Yi's Fire Fist.

"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" Shamon formed Hand Seals, unleashing a massive gust of wind that swept up the mist and rushed toward Li Yi.

Li Yi thrust out his palm, and a huge wall of fire rose up.

Mirror Flame!

This technique unleashed a torrent of flames from one arm to create a massive wall of fire, which could be used for both offense and defense.

The Great Breakthrough struck the wall of fire, and a sizzling sound rang out.

The gust of wind carried a great deal of water vapor, which corroded Li Yi's wall of fire.

The other two puppets began creating water. The Water Release they'd just spat out instantly turned into ice spikes and attacked Li Yi.

The Second Kazekage, still crouching on the ground, pressed both hands against it. One Sand Hand after another appeared around Li Yi, all striking at him at once. Unless Li Yi could burrow underground and escape, this attack would surely crush him to death.

"No wonder he's the Kazekage!" Li Yi exclaimed. He'd thought the Kazekage would be easy to deal with, but his opponent had forced him to reveal all his abilities.

In this situation, Li Yi could actually turn into an elemental form and fly into the sky. But that would expose his elemental transformation completely. For now, Shamon only knew that he had a special state; he didn't know the details.

If Li Yi used it, Shamon would be able to tell that the technique was similar to Kirigakure's Hydrification Technique. By then, Li Yi's abilities would probably become known throughout the Shinobi World!

Li Yi swung Ryujin Jakka. The three Kirigakure puppets beside him were engulfed in flames and burned to ashes.

Looking across the battlefield, Li Yi frowned. The Second Kazekage, Shamon, had vanished. He hurried over and found that a large patch of sand was gone, too. He'd wanted to look for blood, but there was none to be found. Li Yi frowned deeply.

He had used that technique to obtain the Second Kazekage Shamon's blood. But his opponent had even taken the sand from that area with him. There was no way any blood had been left behind.

In truth, Shamon hadn't done it out of caution. He didn't know about the Evil God at this point, and he'd genuinely been cut by the ice blades. His own Sand Palm jutsu had also left him badly injured. He'd burrowed away with that patch of sand because he needed a medium, so he'd controlled the sand to escape.

That move had naturally saved Shamon, too. Otherwise, Li Yi would definitely have had Kato Taka kill him.

The Kazekage had fled, and the Hidden Sand shinobi were trying to run as well. Li Yi wasn't going to let them withdraw so easily. He shot after them. Unless he left some of them behind, he wouldn't be satisfied.

Ryujin Jakka flashed in his hand. Li Yi snorted. "Jokaku Enjo!"

Two enormous flaming hands attacked from either side, trapping more than a hundred Sand shinobi in a second.

Some of the Sand shinobi tried to break through, but they were instantly pursued by flames reaching six thousand degrees and burned to ash.

Of course, there were also Sand shinobi skilled in Water Release. One of them used Water Release, but against flames like these, his meager technique was useless.

"Sand Waterfall Funeral!" A figure appeared in the distance. He coughed up blood and slammed his hands together with all his strength. A massive wave of sand instantly covered Li Yi's Jokaku Enjo.
