Background

Zero is the violent inner personality sealed within Oración Seis leader Brain. Unlike Brain's knowledge-seeking outward persona, Zero is brutal, bloodthirsty, and driven by destruction. The six markings on Brain's face function as seals: each defeated Oración Seis member removes one, and Brain's defeat releases the final restraint on Zero 202.

Jura identifies Zero as Brain's hidden personality before the final confrontation at Nirvana, warning that he is an exceptionally brutal being who loves destruction. By the time Brain falls, the rest of Oración Seis has already been defeated and all other facial seals have vanished, allowing Zero to awaken completely 202 203.

After Lu Chongwei defeats Brain at Nirvana's control room, Zero awakens in Brain's transformed body. He dismisses Brain as weak, revels in pain, and immediately challenges Lu Chongwei, whose strength he refuses to acknowledge 203.

Appearance

Upon awakening, Zero transforms Brain's body into a larger, more muscular form with wild white hair and blood-red eyes. His expression is consistently described as cruel, savage, or frenzied 203.

Zero is violently arrogant and fixated on proving himself as an unstoppable force of destruction. He reacts to serious injuries with exhilaration rather than caution, demanding that Lu Chongwei attack him again and relishing the pain inflicted on him 203.

His pride becomes increasingly unstable once Lu Chongwei overwhelms him. Even while severely burned and beaten, Zero refuses to concede defeat, instead escalating to forbidden magic out of rage and fear 205.

Despite styling himself as the being destined to destroy everything, Zero becomes visibly terrified when his attacks repeatedly fail to harm Lu Chongwei. His desperation culminates in Genesis: Zero after Lu Chongwei crushes Everdark Capriccio with his bare hand 205.

Zero is foreshadowed as Brain's hidden destructive personality after Jura explains the seal mechanism connected to the markings on Brain's face 202.

He awakens after Brain is defeated and battles Lu Chongwei across Nirvana. Zero is cut by Ryujin Jakka, struck by Hadō #63: Raikōhō, and physically overwhelmed despite repeatedly escalating his attacks 203 204.

After Lu Chongwei uses Hadō #73: Rensō Sōkatsui to blast through Nirvana's armor, Zero invokes Genesis: Zero as a final attempt to win. Inferno Hell destroys his vengeful spirits and Gate of Hell before Lu Chongwei cuts him down and destroys Nirvana with him still aboard 205 206.

Zero's defeat becomes a benchmark for Lu Chongwei's overwhelming strength, with Gray later recalling that the feared “God of Destruction” had been helpless before him 211.
