After more than a dozen Fifth Dimensional beings had died in battle, Golden Superman finally stopped holding back. He walked out of the palace with an icy expression, his towering figure dyeing half of the Fifth Dimension brilliant gold. A noble aura slowly spread from him, as though he had been born to stand at the center of the multiverse.

His golden pupils swept over every terrified Fifth Dimensional being. His eyes seemed to possess a peculiar power; anyone who met his gaze quickly calmed down.

"Clark! So many people have died!" Mister Mxyzptlk ran over and shouted furiously.

"I know. I know. I saw it all."

"Why didn't you come out sooner? And the King—was he scared?!" Mister Mxyzptlk roared in fury, his face twisting out of shape from anger.

"We have more important things to do. Compared to that, Dark Superman is nothing."

The Fifth Dimensional King spoke in a deep voice. He strode forward and arrived directly in the middle of the battlefield, facing Dark Superman. His short body looked somewhat comical, but that was nothing; every life-form in the Fifth Dimension looked rather comical.

Mister Mxyzptlk widened his eyes, wanting to say something, but Bat-Man covered his mouth and quietly told him to shut up.

"You're finally here. I've been waiting for this moment!! I'm going to take revenge!!!"

A distorted, unnatural smile appeared on Dark Superman's face as he glared viciously at Golden Superman, his expression filled with cruelty and urgency.

"Revenge?"

Golden Superman stood beside the King, expressionless. "I gave you a chance to live. I gave you the possibility of learning and growing stronger. And now you've come to take revenge on me?"
