Gold Superman suppressed his overwhelming grief and did his best to repair the Fifth Dimension.
Optimus Prime and Megatron watched him from afar.
"This is troublesome. Honestly, sometimes I really don't want to take part in plans like this. He bears no grudge against us."
After watching for a while, Optimus Prime spoke softly.
Megatron sneered repeatedly. "Fool. Put away your hypocrisy! He has a task he must complete, and it's not like we're sending him to his death."
Golden Superman was an important link in Donnie's analysis of the Source Wall. Without Gold Superman, the whole matter would become much more troublesome—he was not irreplaceable, but having him would make things easier.
"If you won't do it, I will!"
Megatron sneered.
He did not care about meaningless notions of good and evil. As long as something benefited him, he would do it. As for Gold Superman... did that guy's wishes matter? He might as well willingly sacrifice himself for their plan!
"Golden Superman! Come with us!" Megatron abruptly appeared before Gold Superman, baring his teeth as he reached out.
Gold Superman's expression darkened sharply. Golden Heat Vision burst from his eyes and blasted toward Megatron, but Megatron merely waved a hand and blocked it.
"What do you want?" Gold Superman grabbed Bat-Man and Mister Mxyzptlk separately, retreating at high speed as he spoke in a low voice.
But Optimus Prime had already blocked his path of retreat.
One in front and one behind, the two supreme gods trapped Gold Superman between them.
"Come with us to Cybertron. There are matters that require your assistance," Optimus Prime said.
