So Coulson asked Donnie if he was willing to provide clues and accept S.H.I.E.L.D.'s support. This could be seen as an opportunity to deepen the relationship between the two parties by having Donnie accept their assistance, giving them plenty of time and opportunities to cooperate in the future.

This was an excellent opportunity.

Donnie smiled. Although he knew Coulson was prescribing the right medicine for his ailment, he couldn't deny feeling quite comforted. Donnie smiled and said into his phone, "Coulson, I have to say, you're a master of persuasion. Every word you say hits home."

Coulson also smiled. The lack of any obvious refusal was a good sign. Coulson said gently, "At least we can provide you with what you need, can't we? We have no intention of harming you. We've wanted to recruit you from day one, and we've never hidden that."

Donnie remained noncommittal. S.H.I.E.L.D., as a large organization, was indeed cunning, able to phrase things so perfectly. What did "never hidden that" mean? Anyone with a brain would understand that a global organization, unless completely incompetent, would definitely want to recruit him. If they couldn't recruit him, they'd sideline him. If he posed a threat, they'd eliminate him.

Considering Donnie's past and background, it was too clean. No criminal activities, no ambiguous associations with any organizations. His entire history was that of a model citizen: diligent, clean, and thorough. S.H.I.E.L.D. could uncover everything about Donnie's past, and it would be a miracle if they weren't tempted.

Combined with the composure Donnie displayed when he woke up in the hospital, their strategy of combining authority and kindness was meant to foster goodwill. Thus, S.H.I.E.L.D. decided not to hide their intentions to recruit him, nor did they need to. Both sides were fully aware.

S.H.I.E.L.D. had initially worried that Donnie, having lost his parents and with no other attachments, might embark on a path of madness, instantly blackening into a supervillain and causing widespread destruction and casualties. However, Donnie's actions had relieved them. At least for the short term, they didn't have to worry, and their desire to recruit him became even more urgent.

An unattached super-powered individual was far too dangerous. They needed to bring Donnie into their system. Whether through bonds or missions, at least he would have something to drive him forward, rather than acting without restraint.

Finally, Coulson informed him that the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. would be visiting him soon and hoped to have an open and honest discussion.

Donnie shrugged, not refusing. He said to Coulson, "Right now, I just need some silver weapons, and it would be best if you could send another batch of alloy. I need them."

Coulson readily agreed. He wasn't afraid of Donnie having demands; he was afraid of Donnie having no demands. Being able to ask for something from them was a good sign.

After hanging up, Donnie first coldly glanced at the bartender, who was sleeping like a log. The bartender had a large bump on his head, which Donnie had created with Vibranium.

Driving the vehicle, Donnie headed straight for the junkyard. He intended to find the administrator, interrogate him for information, and then kill him. However, he was ultimately unsuccessful. The administrator was already dead, clutching a large wad of cash, seemingly in the middle of a transaction.

He had been shot dead.

Donnie sighed. Although he had already made some guesses, seeing this scene still brought him some disappointment. One lead had been broken.

He drove into the piles of scrap cars, picking and choosing, managing to pull out some decent cars. He controlled Optimus Prime to selectively assemble and absorb them. This was an extremely tedious process. Optimus Prime himself was limited by the AllSpark, unable to upgrade his body without restraint. He was also limited by his material composition, requiring the removal of inferior metals and components during the absorption process and incorporating more advanced elements, constantly absorbing and discarding. It was very troublesome.

This was why Donnie had specifically tied up the bartender. He needed the bartender to directly help him build a powerful motorcycle. Vehicles with a higher starting point would have more convenient plasticity after modification, before hitting a bottleneck. Unlike Optimus Prime, who was strong but had a complex upgrade process that consumed too much Spark Energy, almost causing his brain to explode from the pain.

The new Optimus Prime rose from the ground, nearly four meters tall, with a shimmering metallic sheen and a dizzyingly complex mechanical structure that left Donnie very satisfied. His ride had received a leap in combat power, and Donnie now had more confidence to face emergency situations.

Donnie selected two more cars, infused them with Spark Energy, and planned to transform them into Transformers to serve as temporary cannon fodder.

He was very cautious this time. People grow, and after being tricked once, he wouldn't allow himself to be tricked a second time. This world was too dangerous; a slight misstep could lead to disaster.

The bartender was still lying on the ground, playing dead.

"Hey, if you don't want to suffer, get up now!" Donnie threatened him.

The bartender's eyelids twitched. Shamelessly, he continued to play dead.

Smack!

Donnie was straightforward, so straightforward it was a little frightening. He directly pulled out Vibranium and hit the back of the bartender's head, giving the bartender another large bump.

"Huh, why no reaction? Did I misjudge? Is he really unconscious?" Donnie mused suspiciously, stroking his chin. He had used Vibranium quite a bit recently. This high-grade brick had been wielded by him with incredible skill, possessing astonishing power.

The bartender was in tears. He had been pretending to be asleep, but now he had been knocked out again. This idiot hadn't even tested him; he had just hit him with the brick. It was practically insane.

Donnie, feeling somewhat paranoid from being manipulated, couldn't rest easy, always feeling like someone was trying to trick him. So, he decisively acted, hitting him a few more times, turning the bartender into a pulp, before contentedly putting away the Vibranium.

If Vibranium had a soul, it would probably be cursing. Never had such a foolish human abused it so much, using it as a brick to hit people. It was outrageous.

Donnie controlled Optimus Prime, having him transform into his truck mode, and threw the bartender into the truck bed.

Even in truck mode, the new Optimus Prime looked much more imposing. Not only was its sheen brilliant, but its vehicle form was also larger, making it appear more reliable. If an experienced driver were present, they would surely exclaim, "What a great truck!"

Donnie slowly drove Optimus Prime, with two broken-down cars following behind, back to New York at a leisurely pace. Surprisingly, no one attacked him. Donnie had been expecting the people behind the scenes to try and trick him, as after such a long period of effort, they might try to trap him at the very end. If they dared to come again, Donnie swore he would beat them into submission.

However, the anticipated fierce battle did not occur. It seemed the mastermind understood that this was Donnie's territory and watched as Donnie smoothly returned to the city. Upon entering the city, he encountered a few passersby who, upon seeing the two abandoned cars without even steering wheels moving forward on their own, screamed in terror and called the police.

Donnie couldn't be bothered with them. He headed straight for his small house, the place he cherished most. He also needed to prepare to deal with Nick Fury, that old fox, and planned to see what Fury had to say first.
