The old bartender went to deal with the corpses, while Donnie circled the two cars, touching his new weapons and new alloy, feeling smug. The weapons were fine; whether it was the silver bullets or the UV grenades, they were specifically designed for vampires. Against other enemies, their effectiveness would be reduced.
Especially the silver bullets, they were incredibly expensive. Using them against vampires was essentially burning money. Bullets are not easy to recover; a normal person would go bankrupt after firing a few magazines.
Many vampire hunters, while fighting vampires, also plundered the vampires' wealth, collecting watches and necklaces to sell for money. After stockpiling a batch of silver weapons, they would continue to hunt vampires.
To kill vampires, you really can't do without money. It's a crazy, pay-to-win path of no return. The more someone pays, the higher their combat efficiency and the greater their rewards.
Even if humanity wasn't openly at war with vampires, a large number of active vampire hunters were fearless, single-mindedly causing trouble for vampires. For various reasons, they were enemies of vampires: some held grudges, some sought to eliminate pests for humanity, or some simply wanted to get rich. They were a group of desperate characters who lived life on the edge, and many vampire hunters had very close ties with official organizations.
Donnie was about to embark on this path too. Kill vampires, steal money, and steal big money. He would take as much as he could. He needed to recruit a few helpers, and definitely not unreliable guys like the old bartender.
The old bartender, holding a box of silver bullets, was practically drooling. He muttered to himself, refusing to let go, "Mine, all mine. I've never seen so much money. Every bullet is money. It's such a waste to use them as bullets; it's best to use them to buy good wine."
Donnie kicked him. This old fox, saying one thing and meaning another, might just find an opportunity to risk his life against vampires with this box of bullets. The old guy was too slippery; he had spent half his life dodging and weaving, which made him suspicious. He trusted no one. Even though Donnie had saved him, he wouldn't trust Donnie wholeheartedly.
He had lived too hard and too miserably all these years. He had trusted many people, and had been betrayed by many he trusted. He was suspicious and had decided to only trust himself.
Donnie ignored him. What he valued more was that batch of titanium alloy, which was more important to him. This batch of titanium alloy was of superior quality, with a hardness of BT-22, which was already considerable.
In fact, in terms of hardness alone, titanium alloy was not the best choice. But what made titanium alloy truly stand out was its high strength, which many other alloys could not achieve, far surpassing alloys like tungsten steel and titanium steel.
Hardness refers to the property of resisting permanent deformation, while strength refers to the ability to resist permanent deformation and fracture under external force. Stark's Mark I and Mark II armors used titanium alloy as their outer shell. It wasn't until the Mark III that the wealthy Stark abandoned titanium alloy and used the gold-titanium alloy developed by Stark Industries, which resulted in a leap in both strength and hardness.
Even the highest quality sports cars, when colliding, would cause damage or deformation to the metal parts of their bodies. However, Stark's gold-titanium alloy armor could withstand a large amount of smashing and bombing while maintaining its overall shape, which showed how formidable this gold-titanium alloy was.
Donnie summoned Optimus Prime. The AllSpark flickered, and a large amount of energy poured into this batch of titanium alloy. Optimus Prime picked up the boxes, and the titanium alloy metal was poured onto him piece by piece.
Donnie closed his eyes. One titanium alloy after another was permeated, and the molecular structure of each was enveloped and covered by the mysterious Spark Energy. This was also why Donnie could control the Transformers to devour metal.
He could attach advanced metals to a Transformer, but unfortunately, he couldn't directly transform a pile of metal into a Transformer. A basic prerequisite for successful transformation was having a relatively complete energy circuit. He could transform a mobile phone into a Transformer, but he didn't have the ability to transform a phone case.
After more than an hour, Donnie finally opened his eyes and controlled Optimus Prime to pick up the titanium alloy blocks one by one. His arms clicked and transformed, devouring the titanium alloy piece by piece, making it a part of his body.
Donnie also controlled the motorcycle Arcee to start devouring titanium alloy.
Then, after the two of them had devoured a good amount, Donnie began to control the other Transformers to devour. He prioritized enhancing the combat power of Optimus Prime and Arcee. He had to have one or two trump cards, either for killing enemies or for saving his own life. Rather than distributing this batch of alloy evenly, it was better to strengthen two Transformers with most of it.
His AllSpark pulsed continuously, flickering on and off. After the Transformers devoured the titanium alloy with the continuous Spark Energy, Donnie began to modify the two cars again. Wherever the Spark swept, it found several hidden cameras.
Donnie sneered. Who installed them? Fury? Hydra? Or some country? Useless. In front of his AllSpark, all electronic devices were exposed. After another hour, two new Transformers rose from the ground, and then were devoured by other Transformers, constantly growing stronger.
His AllSpark couldn't control an unlimited number of Transformers; he could only strive for perfection. He ultimately limited the number to five.
The old bartender sat nearby, resting his chin on his hand and watching quietly. Only when Donnie was finished did he ask, "Are you going to kill vampires now? How confident are you? If you don't mind me saying, you claim to be Level 4, but you haven't actually shown the true abilities of a Level 4 Mutant. I don't know how powerful Magneto and the others are, but I think they are much stronger than you are now."
Donnie said calmly, "When it comes to war, who can say they are absolutely confident? There are too many instances of ships capsizing in calm waters. Moreover, we have allies. Vampire hunters and the secretly observing S.H.I.E.L.D., among others, will also add fuel to the fire."
He answered some questions selectively, avoiding the issue of strength. There was no need to answer, because he was already very strong.
It was true that he was born Level 4, but his level didn't represent his actual strength. Phoenix Jean was Level 5, and her usual strength was just that unless it was a matter of life and death. Not to mention that the scars on his AllSpark had not fully healed. Even at his current level, he could completely dominate a twenty or thirty-year-old Magneto, though he couldn't say the same for a young Professor X, as psionic powers were hard to defend against.
Magneto awakened his magnetic control in a Nazi concentration camp in his teens. He was discovered by Nazi officer Shaw, who then killed Magneto's mother in front of him, all to further stimulate Magneto's abilities. But years later, when Magneto went to seek revenge on the then-terrorist leader Shaw for his mother's murder, he struggled just to turn a large radar detector half a circle.
The current Donnie could easily defeat Magneto from that period.
Not to mention that the AllSpark was slowly but steadily enhancing his life essence. His strength alone was approaching the one-thousand-jin mark, which was truly astonishing for a telekinetic Mutant. The AllSpark's enhancement of him was comprehensive, except for his spirit and soul, which were unknown, but this evolution was already terrifying enough.
Sometimes Donnie thought that it was a great thing that he wasn't as powerful as he is now. It gave him enough space to gradually familiarize himself with and control his abilities, so as not to lose himself like Phoenix Jean and spiral out of control.
"Let's go, old man. Bring up the silver bullets and grenades. I know you want to go," Donnie said, getting into the driver's seat of Optimus Prime. "We're going to New Jersey, to Ocean City, to kick that bastard Deacon out of his lair!"
