Daywalker Blade!
Donnie's eyes lit up. He hadn't expected to run into this legendary figure here.
Daywalker Blade. Before he was even born, his mother was bitten by Deacon and infected with the vampire virus, undergoing a transformation into a vampire. As a result, Blade was born during this conversion process.
From birth, Blade was a special lifeform, half-human and half-vampire. He was the greatest miracle born from countless impossible low-probability events. He possessed the powerful physique and vitality of a vampire, yet like a normal human, he wasn't afraid of sunlight, silver, or garlic. Blade was the only person in the world who embodied all the advantages of both humans and vampires. However, he also shared the same bloodthirsty impulses as other vampires, experiencing periodic cravings for human blood that forced him to regularly inject a serum to suppress them.
Blade was the most famous among the vampire hunter community. He spent every day and night hunting vampires, as if his sole purpose in life was to eradicate them. Countless vampires turned pale at the mention of his name. This powerful hunter, who could walk in the sunlight, was their greatest nightmare. So many vampires had died at his hands over the years. Out of fear, vampires referred to Blade as the "Daywalker," meaning a vampire who walks in the sun.
Blade could freely use silver and UV weapons, and carry garlic spray on his person. Killing vampires was as easy as slaughtering dogs for him.
The old bartender didn't recognize any "Blade warrior." He didn't let his guard down at all, signaling Donnie with his eyes, asking what he planned to do.
Donnie sized up the burly man exuding a fierce aura, also remaining cautious.
"The famous Blade warrior... how did you know we'd be here?" Donnie asked. This didn't make sense; Blade was a master of combat, not possessing the sensory abilities of Professor X.
"Strictly speaking, it wasn't me who found you, it was my old partner. An old guy you should have seen during the day." Blade put his sunglasses back on. His sunglasses were to protect his eyes from strong light, especially when using flashbangs to kill vampires.
Seen during the day?
Donnie touched his bald head, his face twitching. "That annoying old man? I was so angry I wanted to punch him! I still have a vivid impression of that troublesome old geezer who directly ripped off my wig, making me extremely embarrassed at the time."
Because his head was so shiny, it caused a commotion in the audience, nearly getting him mobbed.
Blade let out a laugh, revealing a mouthful of large white teeth, with four sharp, elongated fangs being quite noticeable. "We also needed to confirm if the legendary Mechanic was neutral and lawful, and perhaps a violent, indiscriminate killer. Of course, we also needed to confirm if the Mechanic was bald, as many people are saying the Mechanic has gone bald."
The last sentence was spoken with a teasing, almost gloating tone by Blade.
Donnie became furious. "What's wrong with being bald? Don't you know it'll grow back soon? And what's wrong with me being bald? Did I eat your rice?"
The old bartender suddenly asked, "How did you confirm our identities after we disguised ourselves?" The old bartender didn't trust this suddenly appearing big guy, who might have a forged identity. He wanted to know exactly where things went wrong. They had been very careful, so why were they discovered?
Blade told the old bartender that it was because Donnie's body temperature and heartbeat were abnormal. Donnie's body temperature was lower than normal, but his brain temperature was significantly higher, and his heartbeat was much slower than the ordinary people in the audience.
"My partner is very skilled at making these body detection instruments. You know, vampires have a body temperature of around fifty degrees Celsius, and this kind of instrument is used to determine if someone is a vampire," Blade said.
The old bartender was half-believing, half-doubting. He still put away his weapon. While he didn't fully trust this stranger, he wasn't an enemy. He kept his wariness deep in his heart.
The three of them began to huddle together and discuss. Their goals were aligned: all of them were hunting Deacon. Blade wanted revenge for his mother and had never given up on pursuing Deacon. Donnie and the old bartender, needless to say, had to go all out, if only to prevent the Blood God from appearing.
Blade was battle-hardened, having experienced more combat than Donnie and the old bartender combined. He was also proficient in major global fighting styles. He advocated for a direct assault, aiming to capture the person in charge alive.
"Deacon never sets up his strongholds in obvious clubs. He's likely hidden somewhere, perhaps with secret passages or hidden rooms. We need to capture the person in charge alive to have them lead the way," Blade spoke eloquently, possessing the most knowledge about Deacon.
Donnie confirmed with him, "It's impossible for the club to be entirely composed of vampires. There must be Ha-Ghost Clan members stationed there, after all, it's not suitable for vampires to be active during the day."
"Then why don't I handle it? I have a more foolproof method. We can kill the excess vampires and leave the Ha-Ghost Clan," Donnie said. He pulled out a few newly bought mobile phones. With the AllSpark jumping, he quickly assembled several Mini-Transformers with complete facial features. They were all brandishing their weapons and bouncing around menacingly.
Blade looked down, his face filled with surprise. Although he had heard many of Donnie's exploits and, out of consideration for their common enemy, had paid close attention to Donnie's actions, it was only when he truly saw these magical creations that he understood why so many people were shocked by the wonder of this mutant ability.
The Creation Ability was unprecedented in mutant history. This ability was too astonishing, a miracle that turned decay into magic.
Blade, holding his gun, tentatively touched a Mini-Transformer, clearly hearing the crisp sound of metal colliding.
"Don't underestimate these little guys. They are all killing machines. One little guy is enough to take down a crowd," Donnie said with a faint smile. He took off a row of UV grenades from his waist, disassembled them one by one, and handed them to the Mini-Transformers.
Each little guy held two or three grenades, circling on the ground. One Transformer even flipped the switch, startling the other two and widening their eyes.
"Mistake, mistake," Donnie said sheepishly, quickly controlling the Mini-Transformer to turn the switch off again.
These UV grenades, for ordinary people, were at most blinding. Therefore, they didn't have a pull ring like regular grenades; the switch could be activated simply by twisting it.
Under Donnie's control, the Mini-Transformers, holding the grenades, moved stealthily, making no sound, like grim reapers in the night, raising their black scythes and charging into the club.
Their small size made them difficult to spot in the dim light, but the UV grenades they carried were deadly weapons. This tactic was rather underhanded, but it had a miraculous effect against vampires.
