Donnie's expression turned extremely strange. Instinctively, he searched for his brick, ready to smash Skinny Man to death with it. It was practically an instinct by now. Not only had the Vibranium brick been used on this strange skinny man more than anyone else, but Donnie had always felt that Skinny Man possessed a face begging to be smacked.
The moment he saw that lecherous, obsequious face, Donnie wanted to hit him with a brick.
"Don't attack! Don't attack! Friendly! I'm friendly!" Skinny Man threw down the rope in his hand, raised both hands over his head, and shrieked like a slaughtered pig. The piercing sound irritated Old Bartender and Blade Warrior so much that they also looked around for bricks to smack him with.
Donnie walked over and dragged Skinny Man closer, his expression odd.
"Talk. How did you get here? Don't feed me crap about getting lost by coincidence, or we'll do things the old way and beat you to death." Donnie's face darkened as he waved the brick in his hand. Their operation was no secret. At the very least, the military already knew they were hunting down a highly dangerous Vampire and would love nothing more than to see both sides fight to the death.
But how had a lone wolf like Skinny Man found out?
"I'm a mercenary! Don't underestimate the information-gathering abilities of us mercenaries! I've got a whole bunch of friends too. Something this big? Don't even think about hiding it from me!" Skinny Man slapped his chest hard, exposing a ribcage-like torso. Each slap produced a series of crisp smacks.
Even Old Bartender, an old man, looked disgusted. Though he was getting on in years, he still had a fine physique. What kind of mercenary was Skinny Man with muscles like that?
