Darkseid's Omega Effect had a hidden connection to the Anti-Life Equation. Donnie knew that very well.

Only now, after witnessing the terror of the Anti-Life Equation firsthand, did Donnie finally understand why Darkseid had pursued it so tirelessly.

"A single equation has limited effectiveness against a Unique God. It exists, but it is subtle and cannot deliver a decisive blow. But if it is combined with the Omega Effect to create something new... even a Unique God may become prey to the new equation."

Of course, a Unique God was not immortal or indestructible. In fact, any other unique divine artifact possessed the formidable power to kill a Unique God's true body or avatar. Take the Ultimate Nullifier, for example. This divine artifact resembled a lighter; even if an infant merely flicked it, the true bodies of beings as powerful as the Five Gods of Creation would be instantly killed.

But the suspected new equation was a terrifying weapon, like the natural nemesis of a Unique God. Before this new formula, there would likely be no essential difference between a Unique God and multiversal life. Both would be targets the new equation could easily hunt down.

Donnie silently watched Mobius, following behind him as he used the Anti-Life Equation to slaughter countless lives with overwhelming force. Universe after universe fell beneath Mobius's feet, turning into dust within the Blood Domain.

Donnie gathered vast amounts of matter and energy with his Level Eight power. A layer of energy field spread around them, blocking the Blood Domain from eroding and annihilating those materials.
