But some did not see it that way. Instead, they were enraged by the enormous destruction caused by the war between the two sides.

"Those bastards! Can't they just settle down for a while?!"

Mandrak, the true Monitor, was extremely irritated. Since this Editor-in-Chief of the Editorial Department had once again donned the identity of a Monitor, he had been operating in secret and had not even returned to the Editorial Department.

He was confident, and he had every reason to be. During this time, he had secretly contacted the Monitor race beyond the Origin Wall. Though they had exchanged only a few simple words, he had yet to receive a definite response.

Mandrak believed that, at the very least, he possessed more hidden information than that foolish Mobius. He also had greater ambition and greater ability.

As a high-ranking member of the Monitor race, and having controlled the Editorial Department for years while overseeing the multiverse in the form of an author and indirectly receiving news from the God Realm, he had long since made his own plans.

"I'm not surprised that the New Gods and the Celestials started fighting, but I didn't expect even the Chief Justice to intervene. I only hope he doesn't reset the entire multiverse, or all my work over these years will have been for nothing."

Mandrak rose to his feet. His slender body, seemingly devoid of skin and composed only of twisted, entwined red muscles, stood upright as he gazed toward a certain direction in the multiverse.
