The Laughing Batman's little scheme had succeeded. He had successfully provoked The Fulcrum's fury.
"We should teach them a harsh lesson. There's no crime left in this world anyway, isn't that right? Those parasites deserve to go to hell!" The Laughing Batman urged.
The Beyonder nodded coldly and said in a deep voice, "Yes, you're right. I'll show them what happens!"
As he spoke, he raised a hand and pointed. Human Torch, who had been flying through the air with a woman in his arms, immediately lost his powers and nearly fell to his death.
The woman in his arms fell as well and was knocked unconscious on the spot.
"Wonderful, Mr. President! That's exactly what you should do. This is only the beginning! Every superhero should be taught a lesson! I have a wonderful idea. We can..."
"Shut up. I don't need a criminal telling me what to do. I'll punish them in my own way!" The Beyonder cut off The Laughing Batman's nonsense, brimming with confidence. "Compared to your ideas, my plan is far better. I'll teach them a vicious lesson and make them realize their own weakness firsthand!"
The Laughing Batman remained respectful and humble as he nodded in agreement.
Before the Beyonder, The Laughing Batman tried his best to remain calm, especially in his thoughts. Laughing directly controlled his own mind, forcing it into a strange state. Unless the Beyonder completely broke through the countless mental barriers he had erected and read everything within him, he would notice nothing amiss.
Clearly, the Beyonder had no interest in thoroughly reading people's minds. The Laughing Batman had won his gamble once again.
"Then what is our next plan? Your loyal servant is willing to serve you." The Laughing Batman bowed respectfully.
Gotham City, Batcave.
