Background
Neil serves the Grand Elder of Namek and escorts Sack and Renar from their landing site to the Grand Elder's residence. He immediately distrusts the Saiyans, treating Sack coldly and reacting angrily to their request to use Namek's Dragon Balls. 15
When Renar challenges his contempt, Neil insists that they fight away from the residence. His clash with her becomes a contest between his controlled, flexible Namekian fighting style and Renar's aggressive Saiyan offense. 16
Neil's hostility persists after the battle. When Sack asks the Grand Elder to unlock Renar's potential, Neil protests and attacks Sack verbally; Sack suppresses him with the Heaven and Earth Furnace's pressure, leaving Neil injured and unconscious. The Grand Elder considers the injury non-serious and regards the incident as needed tempering for Neil's impatience. 21
